Years have pass, and things have been changing. Here in the Mermaid kingdom, things have not been good.
The King, has passed away and his one and only child has gone missing. Some says that she left to be with her human, some says that she has been captured by the pirates, who knows, nobody knows where she is.
The High Mermaids, have been looking for a solution to fix this problem. They have gone through all the mermaids looking and finding the Kings lost sibling. And that sibling is, Was my mother.
My mother, was the King's sibling. The mermaids didn't know that there was an another royal, except of the king and his child. Well, my mother knew she was a royal, but people didn't think of her that way, since people are so focused on the future king who is my uncle the deceased King.
The High Mermaids, tried to get my mother to be the new ruler. But my mother refused, and said that I should take the throne.
I was shock, don't know how to react. Since my mother refused, and the High mermaids has no choice. They pick me as the new ruler of the Mer Kingdom.
When it's finally my coming of age. The kingdom prepared my coronation. During those years, I have been taught on how to act, make a speech and just simply, be a royal. I didn't hate my mother decisions, this way I can forget about him. About laurance.
Since that day, he has not been coming back. Not even once, I go to the exact same swamp, same time and same day, but no laurence. After a month, I gave up and didn't go back to that swamp.
Now that I'm gonna be a Queen, I have no time thinking about him. He made his choice and I've made mine, I'm a Queen, my focus should be the merpeople and my kingdom, and keep the sea safe for travelers to travel. That's all, nothing else.
It is finally time for my coronation, I sat down, and waited for my time to come out. I looked at myself at the mirror, and touched my face, and the jewels, that are on my head.

"Our New Ruler! Y/n! Y/L" the crowd started cheering and waited for me to come out. I swam closer and closer, the trumpets blow and the curtains have been pulled away, revealing me. I swam closer and looked down at my people, with a smile. The anouncer turned to me, revealing a crown made just for me.
