The day is finally here, today is the day I become a married woman. Who could have thought that, I, Maisarah Muhammad Bulama, will one day get married. That's so crazy!
Wedding jitters as people call it, I found it to be just one being dramatic thing but here I am actually thinking of running away. Again, that's so crazy.
It's scares the shit out of me knowing that I will be under someone not like I have not been under my parents but this is different. I will no longer be as free as I use to be, when I need to go out, my husband has to approve, when I want to fast apart from Ramadan, my husband has to approve.
"Earth to Maisarah." Manal yelled snapping her fingers and I jolted.
"What is it?" I asked while picking my phone up and replying some messages. "I have been talking to you but it appears that I was talking to a statue. I rolled my eyes.
"Anty mummy is calling you." She said and I nodded. "Why are you so quiet?" She asked and I shrugged.
Now understand how she was feeling on her wedding day.
