MAIDUGURI, BORNO
Time flies most especially when you are enjoying it. It's remaining just 3 days left for our stay in Maiduguri.
"Mama am going to dress up at Manal's." She nodded and I walked to Manal's.
Today is the day for the family pictures. "Mummy ina wuni." I greeted and hugged Manal's mom.
"Sarah my love, how are you?"
"Am fine Mummy." We chatted a bit and I went up to Manal's room.
"Bitch!" I yelled and threw a pillow at her. She hissed and picked the pillow. She threw it at me and I dodged it.
"Why do you have to be so violent?" I laughed and she hissed.
"Why are you still in your towel." I sat on her bed. "I just got out of the bathroom." She replied in a duh tone.
"So what are you going to wear?" She asked. "A laffaya." I replied and she nodded.
"Adda Sarah." Najah called and sat next to me. I didn't even notice when she entered.
"Yes sweety what is it?"
"DanAllah can you do my makeup?" She asked pouting and I nodded.
She squealed and hugged me. She brought out Manal's makeup box and I started with her brows.
30 minutes later I was done because she asked for a light makeup. Manal had done her's so I asked her to do mine.
When she finished, I helped her into her A line gown. The colour code is off white except for Alhaji and Gwaggo who will be in gold but for us all, we will be wearing off white.
I wrapped my laffaya and draped it on my shoulder instead of my head. I pick Manal's off white silk scarf and tied it into ZahraBuhari style.
Najah walked in dressed beautifully in a satin mermaid gown and her scarf tied into a ture ka gan tsiya.
"Adda Manal, Adda Sarah. You two look beautiful." Najah complimented.
"Thank you baby sis." Manal answered.
"You look beautiful too Najah." I commented and she muttered a thank you.
"Muje koh." Manal said and we all walked downstairs.
"Ohh Mummy you look gorgeous!" I said and she laughed. "Gaskiya, mummy you look good." Manal added.
"Kai yaran nan." She replied grinning ear to ear and we laughed.
We walked out and you could see everyone trooping out from their side. I saw yaya Marwan holding his daughter, Amira and his wife holding Amir.
"My yaya is looking dashing." He smirked and adjusted his babanriga.
