Anne Martin's POV
Today was teacher-parent conference day, and I was excited to finally meet my star student, Bianca Solace-Di Angelo's Parents! I had already met her dad, Dr. Will Solace, and I must say he is really good looking! (A/N 🤮)I want to see the lovely lady that attracted him.
At the conference three people came in, Dr. Solace, a stern-looking Puerto-Rican woman with good posture (Reyna), and a pale dark-hair guy with an aviator jacket (You know who that is :P). I said, " Nice to meet you, Mrs. Solace-Di Angelo, I'm guessing the dark-haired man is Bianca's uncle?"
All three of them looked like they were stifling laughter. I gave them a look of confusion, and they regained composure. The lady spoke, "Actually my name is Reyna Ramirez-Arellano and I am not the mother of Bianca, I am the Godsmother, these two men are married, and Bianca is their adopted daughter." I seethed with rage, this was non-christian! I screamed at them," THAT IS AGAINST GOD!! YOU CANNOT DATE SOMEONE OF THE SAME SEX!!" They all gave me death stares, the dark-haired man gave the hardest one. If looks could kill I'd be dead. \
Dr. Solace stepped in front of me and it took all my will power not to cower in his gaze. He told me deadly calm, " We are NOT christian and if you cannot contain your self, Ms. Martin then I will have to tell your boss."
Right then I could not process what he was saying I was to worked up to realize the consequences .
I screamed at him again, "I WILL HOLD BIANCA BACK IF YOU DON'T ADMIT YOUR WRONG-DOING AND SERVE GOD!" This time the dark-haired man responded, " That would be unnecessary, since we are transferring Bianca to a different establishment due to your behavior, we will tell your supervisor of your homophobia" The three stormed out leaving me with my thoughts.
I realized what deep trouble I was in, and what would happen if I got fired. I rushed after the trio and apollogized (Puns) " I'm sorry for screaming in your face" I said untruthfully through gritted teeth. Reyna simply said "OK" and they walked away. I was worried they hadn't but then I comforted myself thinking, they don't followed God they must not be smart.
Boy was I wrong. I got fired a week later. Whatever I'll just marry rich, I am charming.
