Hello, lovelies! It's Percabeth time!! This one-shot will be about the aftermath of- dun dun dun tartar sauce (You know what I mean) This topic is a little over used, but that's because it is really fun to read! Please enjoy!
Warning: A little sad, but it turns out all right, not my best work.
Annabeth POV
The dream
Arachne was chasing me and Percy
I felt a sticky string wrap around my leg
The string pulled me away from Percy's grip
He chased after me but I was going too fast
My fear was unimaginable
I screamed for him, "Percy!! Percy!!"
I woke up in a cold sweat, my brain was foggy I couldn't process where I was.
I started running, I don't know where too I just ran trying to escape my troubles (Me too, Me too)
I heard footsteps behind me, I ran faster.
I felt two arms wrap around me and I smelled a familiar scent, ocean. I looked up at him and tears welled in my eyes. "Where are you going, wise girl?" "I-I was torn from y-you and Arachne-" He bent down and looked into my eyes and said, "Nothing, not even the Gods will ever tear you from me again, I love you so much."
He picked me up and carried me bridal-style back to his cabin, where we cuddle for the rest of the night in a dreamless sleep.
Percy POV (Same event just different POV)
I was sleeping peacefully when I felt a shift in the mattress, I woke up instantly (if you are you have to be a light sleeper to survive) I saw a blur of blond hair bolt out the door. I knew it was Annabeth, but why is she running away?
I sprinted after her, but she sped up so I did too.
I finally caught her I asked her, "Where are you going, wise girl?" and she responded shakily, "I-I was torn from y-you and Arachne-" I didn't want her thinking that we'd be separated again because that was a hard time for both of us so I said, "Nothing, not even the Gods will ever tear you from me again, I love you so much"
I then picked her up and carried her back to bed where we cuddled peacefully for the rest of the night.
WoW, 14 chappies in two days! At this rate I'll have to start a book 2 before I have 20 votes!
