~TWILIGHT P.O.V
After what happened in the main room, we went to a separate room where we watched the sunset as we ate a bit of Jell-O, I had a spoon full of Jell-O in my hand, Flint looked a bit nervous so I turned to him so I could break the silence, "So Jell-O," I said and Flint looked at me as I looked at the Jell-O in my hand.
"Right. Right, right," Flint said looking at me, "It's a solid, it's a liquid, it's a visco-elastic polymer made of polypeptide chains, but you eat it," I said my science self coming out again, I then realized what I was doing and then looked down.
"I mean," I said giving a shy giggle, "It tastes good," I said giving a shy smile, "Why do you do that?" Flint asked me, "Do what?" I asked confused looking away, "Say something super smart and then bail from it," Flint said.
I put the spoon full of Jell-O next to me, and the next thing Flint said made me freeze, "And why do you sometime's freeze when I call you Twi and step back when I get close to you... Did I do something wrong?" Flint asked and my head shot over to him.
"No. No, no. It's not you Flint, it has nothing to do with you. It's just something that happened in my past that I don't like to talk about but about the other thing... Can you keep a secret?" I asked him.
"No," he said and my eyes widened at him, then his eyes widened, "But-- But this time, sure, yeah," Flint said with a smile, I sighed, "Okay. Well, it was a really long time ago, but I used to be an... inventor," I said looking away.
"Really?!" Flint asked in shock.
"When I was a little girl, I wore a ponytail, I had glasses, and I was totally interested in changing the world with my inventions. Other girls wanted a Barbie. But all I've ever wanted was just... A professional lab coat. But all the other kids used to taunt me with this lame song. It wasn't even clever," I explained to Flint.
He then started to giggle, I looked over at him and glared, he stopped, "Go on," he said, I looked away from him and he gave me a sad look when I wasn't looking, "So I got a new look, gave up the science-y nerd inventive stuff, and I was never made fun of again," I told him as I looked back over to him.
I then pulled out the black glasses that I bring around with me for safekeeping, "And I still need these glasses, but I never wear them," I added holding my glasses, and I look down shamefully, Flint then slid over to me and grabbed my glasses, "I'll bet you look great with glasses on," Flint said.
"I'm really--" I started saying with a nervous tone in my voice, "And on they go," he said, "Oh..." I said leaning back and closed my eyes, I felt them go on and I opened my eyes, I also got a clear look of Flint as he was giving me a happy smile, and wow... He was way cuter than I thought he was.
"Whoa..." I muttered in a trance with blush coming on my cheeks, "What?" Flint asked leaning back a bit, "Nothing," I said looking away, "Wait," he said pulling up a spoon, he then got a bit of Jell-O and started to eat some of it with the spoon, he then put the spoon down and turned to me again.
"It's a Jell-O scrunchie," he told me showing me it, I sighed and turned my head so he could tie it up, he stopped, and out the corner of my eye, I saw him cover his eyes, "And now, the reveal," he said and I looked at him as he uncovered his eyes.
I looked at him nervously as he looked at me, (A/N: Pic with the chapter), he looked at me in awe, "Wow..." he muttered in awe, I looked down shyly, "I mean, you were okay before," Flint suddenly said and I looked over at him confused and with shocked eyes, "But now... You're beautiful," he told me.
I looked at him lovely for a few seconds before looking away in shame, "No... I'm not, Flint. I can't go out in public like this," I told him sadly, "We'll, why not?" he asked me and I looked over at him again, "I mean, this is the real you, right? Smart. Bespectacled. Who wouldn't wanna see that?" Flint told me.
I moved closer to him by a tiny bit, the closest I've ever been to a guy that I know in five years, "You know, I've never met anyone like you, Flint Lockwood," I told him with a smile, it was the truth after all, "Me either. But about you," he told me.
I looked at him before I leaned in, he did it... He actually done it, I promised myself I would never fall in love with another guy as long as I lived but when Flint Lockwood came along, he threw everything out the window, he listened to me, he cared for me, and actually liked stuff that I liked, he earned this, he earned my love, and I earned his, (If he did actually like me, but the way he was talking, he probably did).
I heard him take a deep breath and I opened my eyes, his cheeks were puffed out, I giggled quietly, so quiet that he couldn't hear me, I leaned in again and I felt our lips graze when-
'Flint, you have a call. Flint, you have a call'
We both pulled apart and I looked away blushing madly before I looked over at him again, "Is your p-phone ringing?" I asked stuttering as he grabbed his phone, he chuckled nervously as he pulled it out, "T-that's weird. Someone must've changed my ring," he said as he opened it.
"Oh, it's the mayor. Do you mind if I take this?" he asked me as he pulled his phone close, "No, no, no. Go ahead, take it. It's fine" I told him kindly as we both stood up, "I'm so sorry. It's important," Flint apologized as he stepped towards the Jell-O window, "I should be going too. It's getting late," I told him as I walked towards the Jell-O stairs, "I'm just gonna step outside real quick," he said as I looked away.
"AYE!"
I looked back over and saw Flint was nowhere to be seen, I looked around the room in fear and waited for a sound, I heard a crash outside and then a scream, I cringed as I made my way down the stairs.

I walked into the van with a dazed look on my face as well as a dreamy smile, I sat down, I sighed as I remember seeing Flint's face clearing for the first time, "So I guess you had fun,"
I turned to see Sam sitting there holding her glasses before putting them on, "You're wearing your glasses," I told her shocked, she said she was never gonna wear her glasses again, (She looks like ).
"Yeah. You wearing them and looking like you were back then made me want to wear them again, but I like my hair the way it is now so I'm keeping it like this," she said and I nodded.
"So how was it?" Sam asked, I sighed before a big grin came onto my face, "It was awesome. Flint made this jello castle for us and had so much fun, then I told Flint about my inventive side and we may have..." I trailed off and Sam gasped in shock as she covered her mouth.
"You guys kissed?!" Sam squealed, "No. No, no, no. We almost did, but Flint's phone rang as our lips grazed," I told her and she groaned, "Dang it. I really thought it would happen today," Sam said and my eyes widened, "You thought that?!" I asked her as she laughed.
"Yep. It's pretty obvious," Sam said, I groaned as I sunk back in my chair, "You guys really need to get together," Sam told me with a smirk.
"Shut up,"
