Y/N's POV:

It was a beautiful morning. I was on my way to school when all of a sudden, Sonia zooms by me, shouting, "Excuse me! Coming through!" I stood there, dazed, as Kazuichi also zoomed past me, after Sonia. "Wait for me, Mrs. Sonia!" He screamed, struggling to keep up.

I then heard a sigh, as Peko came and stood next to me. "Those two will be all over the place like always." She muttered. "Is he obsessed with her or something?" I asked. "Yes. Very." She answered calmly. "May I walk with you mortals?" A voice asked from behind. I recognized it. It was Gundham's voice.

We both turned around and saw Gundham right behind us. "Wah! O-Oh, um..." I stuttered, startled. "Apologies for startling you." Gundham apologized. Peko seemed unfazed. She somehow seemed completely emotionless. It's impressive to keep a straight face, but it also felt depressing if you thought of it differently.

"Um... of course. You can... er... come with us!" I answered awkwardly. Before Gundham could answer, Peko said, "Hold on a moment. May I speak to Y/N privately?" Nobody could even say anything after, as Peko pulled me to the side. "Do you like him?" She asked.

"Um... w-why do you sound so serious about it?" I pointed out. "Oh. Er... sorry about that. I'm just curious. I then sighed, before admitting it. "Yes. I do like him."

All of a sudden, Peko actually smiled, saying, "You want to confess to him, right?"

"O-Of course I do." I stuttered.

"Then meet me behind the school when we can all go home." She said.

"Um... okay." I mumbled. Then Peko dashed off.

I went over to Gundham. "Why did Peko run off?" Gundham asked. "I have no idea." I started, Let's just head to school before we're late."

Gundham's POV:

It was currently lunchtime in the cafeteria. I was letting the Dark Devas climb on Peko. She appeared to be a bit calm, yet confused. I couldn't tell if she was irritated or not. Meanwhile, Y/N was laughing in the background. I felt a little out of it as she was laughing.

The laugh was so cute. Why do I feel this way? The Supreme Overlord of Ice shouldn't have feelings for a mere mortal! But... is she really a mortal? It's all so hard to think about. It hurts my head. Wait... no.

The Supreme Overlord of Ice doesn't feel pain.

The Supreme Overlord of Ice does not have feelings for such mortals, either.

Y/N's POV:

I was just heading out of school. I was about to start heading home when I remembered about Peko. She wanted to meet me at the back of the school. She should be there. I turn around and head towards the back. I had only realized that there was no turning back. Peko was probably going to help me no matter what.

I was now tangled in a mess that I recklessly tackled myself into.
