Sabito and Makomo were staring anxipously at me. They were clearly waiting for a response.

Giyu remained composed on the outside but on the inside he was in a state of disbelief. And the reasons were simple.
Giyu's mind:

Sabito = 17 years old
Makomo = 15 years old (same age as Kocho)

Current Giyu = the very opposite of composed (thinks he has gone mental)
Giyu, who was in a state of shock was finally calming down. But then he heard his sister call out to him from the door.
"Hey Giyu! Shinobu is here!" His sister shouted as she opened the front door.
