||1|| The girl by the lamp post

(Tomioka's POV)

I was frustrated. More than I could imagine. The only thing going to that place did was infuriating me.  I walked down the street in annoyance. Taking deep breaths, trying to keep calm. I stopped at the zebra crossing, waiting for the light to turn red. As I waited, I stared at the sky, it was filled with stars, they shone brighter than I had ever seen, probably because I don't usually gaze up at it. 

The light turned red and I began walking, once I reached the other side of the road, I made my way down the street. Whenever I can across someone I would look away, avoiding them as much as possible. When a woman walked past me I averted my gaze to the lamp post, it was in a rather unusual spot, it was beside a building, instead of beside the road and it almost seemed to be leaning against the brick wall. I stopped, continuing to figure out why the lamp post would be there, when I saw a figure, it was leaning against the post and it was curled up, like a ball. I approached the figure, realising it was a girl, I couldn't see her face since her arms were covering it, but I could tell something was wrong. 

"Are you alright?" I asked, looking at the girl. She lifted her head, locking eyes with me. "Yes.... I'm fine..." she said, her eyes trailing off. "Are you sure?" Was the only thing I managed to say. She looked back at me, this time not directly. "Yes...." she replied once again. "Why are you by yourself?" I asked, she shrugged, "I walked off.... I didn't listen to my sisters...." she said, cutting herself off. "Are you lost?" My attention was on her face. I couldn't make out was she was thinking, she looked a bit tired, scared, worried and sad. She nodded her head. "Where do you live? I can drive you to your house" I offered. She took out a coin and flipped it. It landed on heads. "Ok.... I live on _____" I held out my hand and she took it. I helped her up and walked with her to my car. "So what's your name?" I asked, "it's.... Kanao" she said, staring at her fiddling fingers. "Nice to meet you Kanao, I'm Tomioka" I said in response. 

When we reached my car, I opened the door to the back seat for her. She got in and fastened her seat belt. I walked over to the drivers seat and got in. I was about to close the door, when I saw two girls walking down the footpath. I could hear them calling out for Kanao. I suppose they are her sisters. I looked over at Kanao, who was just staring at them. "Are they your sisters?" I asked her. She nodded. I got out and walked over to the back seat. I opened the door and Kanao got out. I held her hand as we approached the two girls. They both looked at me and Kanao. "Kanao! We were so worried! Don't run off like that again!" One of them said as the took Kanao into their embrace. The other girl just smiled, watching the two other girls. She caught my eye, she was quiet short, but she looked mature, she wore a kimono with butterfly patterns and she had her hair tied up into a ponytail, she had a butterfly hair pin that I personally thought made her look beautiful. 

"Thank you so much!" I heard. I turned to the girl that was hugging Kanao. "Thank you so much for helping my sister! She told me about how you were willing to drop her off and that you brand her to us! Thank you!" She said. "It's fine" I said in response. "I'm Kanae Kocho and these are my little sisters Kanao and Shinobu." I looked at the girl, "nice to meet you, I'm Giyu Tomioka" I said. "Well we have to go now, thank you once again Mr. Tomioka! Hope we see you again!" Kanae said. Walking with away with her sisters. I smiled to myself. 

"That girl, Shinobu, she's really beautiful, and she seems familiar too, it's almost like...."

(Shinobu's POV)

"That guy, he was staring at me.... that Tomioka guy really draws my attention, it feels like...."

(Tomioka and Shinobu's POV)

"We've met before"
