We both sat comfortably in the restaurant, Luke not taking his eyes off the pizza and me not taking my eyes off him. "L-Luke?" I said, putting down the piece of pizza that was in my hand. He looked up instantly, quickly putting down the slice in his hand. "Yeah?" He said, mumbling slightly.
"What are we?" I said, trying to hide my nervous.
He looked puzzled as he thought for a moment, but he finally answered with, "What do you want us to be?"
I thought for a second. No one really knew I was gay except for Luke, Niall and now Liz, so if we were classified as boyfriends, that would surely all change, but being just friends, everything would change surely... Wouldn't it? I mean, friends don't kiss, or make out or anything any further... And I'll admit, Lukes a pretty good kisser.
I sighed, before rushing my words out quickly, hoping he wouldn't hear, "I want you to be my boyfriend." But he heard and instantly stared up at me. We both remained silent for atleast a minute until I finally said, "Well, are you going to say anything?" My voice sounded madder than intended and it seemed to frighten Luke slightly, but he still answered.
"S-Sorry, I was just... Shocked..." He said, "I mean, Im a screw up, outcast who everyone seems to know the name of. Who would want to date me?"
I rolled my eyes before saying, "Everyone, which is why I'm surprised you're even here with me!"
He chuckled slightly before saying, "Yes."
"Yes what?" I said, looking puzzled.
"I'll be your boyfriend!" He said with a gentle smile, taking my hand and intwining our fingers.
I felt my heart skip a beat as our fingers interlocked, and I leaned or to him slightly, quickly pecking him in the lips.
Luke giggled slightly before digging back into his pizza, our hands still interlocked. My hunger had suddenly disappeared and I rested back on my chair, feeling calm and comfortable, until a familiar face walked in.
"So this is how it is?" He spat at me. You guessed it.
Niall.
