Luke Hemmings.
He's only been at our school for a month and yet, he's all people could talk about...Not for good reasons.
I haven't actually ever seen him, but I heard that he had a black eye on his first week of school, not that anyone confesses to giving it to him.
He's also had so many detentions that Im surprised he doesn't now live at the school.
Along with the fact he was also brilliant at all work he did.
From what I heard about him, I couldn't work him out, and apparently neither could anyone else.
The bad boy whose already been beaten up but is still top with everything educational and yet still doesn't have girls all over him? Well... Girls and boys... Yep, another thing that makes Luke different from the rest. A bi sexual bad boy whose already been beaten up but is still top with everything educational. No one really cares for him around school, and apparently he's always really quiet... And he's always in detention for break times.I wandered over to my locker, finding a note on it, obviously from Lizzie. At school, I had 3 friends, 3 people who knew my name, 3 people who knew near enough all my imperfections and yet chose to stay, and trust me, there are a lot of imperfections! In fact, I myself don't know why they chose to stick around.
Anyway, there was Lizzie, Niall and James, along with Ashton and Calum back at home, if you would class them as "friends".Lizzie was the only girl, and obviously the shortest. She was always smiling, which partially sickened me, but this only meant that when she cried, it was all the more heartbreaking. She was probably the most trustworthy, seeing as she had no other girls to go and bitch about us to. That's right, Lizzie was, of course, another outcast. We were pretty much the only ones who knew her name.
Niall was a controlling, music obsessed, football freak. He was pretty much the leader, partially because he scared the rest of us. If Niall didn't get his way, he would turn violent, and none of us ever want to see Niall being violent... Again. We just had to do everything the way he wanted us to and when he wand us to. This wasn't always a bad thing, as he was what got me into football, but I could never seem to understand why he loved music so much. Yeah, I didn't mind people like Greenday... But... Out it this way, Nialls taste is different. Very different.
And finally James, probably the quietest of them all. He pretty much sits and plays with his thumbs all the time, and only really sticks with us because he trusts us not to leave him. James didn't exactly have anyone else, as his family hated him, along with everyone else. James would only talk if he had to answer a teacher or if he was worried about something. He was also a goody goody, which mostly pissed me off, but he was a cool lad, other than the fact he is pretty much 99.9% afraid of Niall 100% of the time and pretty scared of me too quite often. The only person he really feels safe with is Lizzie, which is odd because he bugs her.
I picked up the note off my locker and read it to myself:
"Mikey, Niall got in a fight again and so is gonna be in detention today, meet me and James at the table!"
When Lizzie wrote "the table" she didn't mean our usual lunch table. It's weird, whenever Niall's not there, the 3 of us pretty much hide out, incase he gets let off early. We go to this odd lunch table that's on the area of the school that no one even knows about. It's much quieter there and Niall can never find it, along with everyone else in the school. It was also a hideout from teachers.
I grinned, pushing the note into my pocket, before opening my locker and grabbing out the several books I needed. I slammed it shut and turned around. No one was look at me, never mind even taking notice of me. This had sort of become fun, wandering the halls but feeling invisible, sometimes even thinking that I might actually be... That's how ignorant people are!
I finally got out of the main doors, still on school property of course, but wandered to the bit where no one else went. I had to pass grouch some seriously tight spaces to get there, but it was worth it to get away from everyone else. Somewhere along the way, I caught up with the two.
"Who was it this time?" I said, books rattling around in my bag with every step.
"Some kid two years below." Lizzie said, carefully taking nibbles from her chocolate bar.
James was staring at his feet, playing with his thumbs as usual, by he was relaxed, even though he looked as though he was one verge of some form of panick attack.
"Ouch, does that dude never learn?" I said, rolling my eyes before walking through the tight gap in the bush ahead of us.
"Guess not." Lizzie said, taking the last bite of her chocolate bar before stepping through the bush as well. James eventually stepped through and we turned to the bench.A small figure was hunched up, testing his head on the table. He flinched as we stepped closer. Looked like we wouldn't be the only ones at the table today...
Okay so this ending is pretty bad but I guess you guys can probably guess who is sat at the table :3 get ready for amazing stuff.
I guess you could call this chapter a filler, as it is more to tell you about what the characters are like, from Michaels point of view. Soon enough, you learn more about a lot of the characters.
Stay tuned, ALOT is coming soon! Bye ily 😘
