Chapter 6: Friendly Date

Y/N POV

Today me and Rosé are gonna hang out, it's been a quite a while since we went out together and I honestly missed her 

That cute smile and giggle of hers, it's adorable and makes me fall for her even harder 

Just as I was about to call the blonde, my phone rang

I saw her caller ID and answered it right away

"Hey"

"Hi, it's been awhile since I heard your voice"

"Yeah me too, I missed you. Is it ok if we go to the park today? I wanna take a walk with you" She asked me with a shy tone

"Sure"

"Great! I'll go and get ready, see youu byee"

"bye"

I couldn't wipe the smile off my face after my conversation with Rosé, just a simple conversation like that can make my heart skip a beat

I was yet again day dreaming about the blonde when my phone rang again

But this time, it wasn't Rosé. I didn't recognize the number but I still answered the call

"Hello?" I heard a woman's voice on the other line, her voice was familiar although I couldn't remember who

"Uhmm, who are you and how did you get my number?" I asked the woman

"Oh, y/n. Don't you recognize my voice? 

"Oh hey, Jennie. How did you get my number? Did my dad give it to you?" I mentally cursed my dad for giving away my personal information without me knowing 

"Yeah, he did. Actually I called you to ask  if you maybe wanted to hang out today? You know, just the two of us? There's this park nearby with a really nice view of the sunset and I missed ur company" 

"Oh, shoot. Sorry Jennie, I already have plans for today. But maybe next time yeah?" I went in for the straightforward answer and I could feel that her hopes where crushed by the tone of her voice

"Oh, well that's ok y/n. We can always hang out another day, byee" She hung up the phone without waiting for my reply

I kinda feel bad that I rejected her offer but Rosé asked me out first and it would be unfair if I bailed on her

JENNIE POV

My face fell when y/n said that she had plans for today, I already asked her dad about all her schedules for this month and she doesn't have any important meetings so far. So that means this isn't work related. There could be another slut flirting with my y/n behind my back. I won't let her slip through my hands

I grabbed my car keys and headed towards her house, I arrived at the perfect time as I saw y/n getting inside her black Porsche 

I followed her car, making sure to keep my distance 

Several minutes later her car stopped in a park. I noticed that it was the same park that I asked her to go with me earlier. I was curious as to who this friend of hers was. I got out of my car and followed her tracks

She was walking for a few minutes now and I could tell that she felt someone was following her, she whipped around and I instinctively hid behind the tree.
