Finally, that day also came when I needed to leave for college.

I hate this feeling of leaving.

I never thought Kabir would become an important person to me. My life was different before I met them and now I don't want to leave them. They have become my family. I was packing up when Mr. Bansal came.

"I have done what you said. Do you think it's a good idea to hire a bodyguard?"

"I think for the time being it is. We both know about his personality." I said looking at him.

"I am thinking of training him as well what do you think?" he asked

"I have already asked him that but he rejected saying it's not his cup of tea," I said with a smile

"Will you be able to manage there?" he asked

"I have to. Don't worry. By the way, where is he? I thought he would help."

"He left for the bookstore. He does try to show his strongness but we know he is not." He said and I made my way to the bookstore. He is right.

When I reached, I found him reading a book. Without calling him I went and sat beside him.

"What are you doing here?" Kabir asked

"Finding my best friend. Have you seen him? I think he has already started to distance himself from me." I said mimicking a sad face.

"Stop it. I came to buy you a gift. Well those two words, they sound great from your mouth" he said with a smile

"What? Distance?" I said with a fake confusion

"You know which once," he said with a poker face

"You said gift. You mean a book?"

"Yup."

"The edition you were trying to find. They have one."

"What?" I shouted.

"Sh...sh.." the person made a sound near to us.

"Slow down buddy. Let's buy it." Kabir said.

We finally bought the book.

"What else?" he asked

"What?" I questioned.

"Do you want to do something like making the day special before you leave?" he said wiggling my brows.

"Oh! Kabir, I swear I will not go if you say things like that" I said side hugging him.

"Come on Adi let's enjoy today otherwise you will miss me more," he said with a smirk

"Let's start with your favourite cake. What say?" he suggested and I whistled.

We enjoyed it a lot. That day before I left was way too special for me as I was spending it with my best friend.
