Chapter 14

"Shine" I shouted

"Why are you so loud?"

"Where is sir?"

"Boss is working on something. Adi, you look tense what happened?"

"There's something wrong ok? I am going out to find Kabir..."

"Wait, what is wrong?"

"I don't know I am getting all negative thoughts about him and he is not yet home so I am going," I said

"We'll accompany you." She said and I nodded.

I left the house and went to the store where Kabir usually goes.

"Excuse me. Can you tell me if he was here or not?" I asked him showing Kabir's picture.

"Yes, he was here. But he left an hour ago." Manager said.

I messaged Shine and asked her to track the number. I need to find him.

I searched every road which he would take home, then I saw his watch in a small lane. It means he was here. A relief ran down my body that after so much of search, I finally found something.

I followed the lane, and a little ahead I saw a lady lying on the road.

"Hello, ma'am? Ma'am, can you hear me?" I asked

"Shit"

I tried to make her sit "You okay?" I asked

"Ahhh... my head. One of the men hit me ahh... I tried to stop them. Those boys."

"Ma'am drink some water and tell me properly," I asked looking at my watch. She nodded and calmed herself.

"One man was saying something about kidnapping on the call. He said that he had to kidnap one more because he had seen him and they were in the car. I then saw inside the car from the back window two boys were there. Then someone hit me in the back..."

"Ma'am see if he was the one?" I showed her the photo

"Yes, he was there too."

"He was there. Ma'am, you heard anyother thing like where they are taking them or any other thing regarding their plan?" I asked. I know I sounded desperate I should have sent her to the doctor but I was desperate at that moment.

"Please try to remember. He is my friend and I want to know about him."

"They...ya before losing my consciousness I heard them saying that boss said to report to the factory. Just this much."

"Factory!" I repeated.

Then I searched the nearby places and sent a message to Shine.

"Ma'am please sit here. I have informed you so they will help you with treatment. When they will arrive just deliver my message." I said and left.

I called Shine and said "Hello Shine track my number. I think I found him."
