Chapter 28

Viviana's P.o.v

It's been four hours since Derren ran away from Dan. He said he was gonna come back but when? Even though I don't know him I still care about where he's going. He did save my life and I was grateful for that. 

"Guys don't you think we should be looking for him? I mean he could be in danger! You guys are officers so we need to do something." I said to them as I got in front of the Tv they were watching.

Dan sighed and Mark just gave me a frown.

"Yeah..I guess your right. I mean it has been four hours and i'm pretty sure he would have been came back." Dan said as he got up and went to the tracking room.

"Well where could he have possibly gone? I mean unless he was talking a walk a forgot the timing." mark said as I just shrugged.

"Who knows but he can't get far in four hours right? we can still get him.." I said hoping that I wasn't wrong. I mean Dan did say he ran away from him so what if he was somewhere far and lost? 

"Guys one of my tracking devices are missing." Dan said coming from the tracking room. I looked confused as Mark and Dan started to freak out while getting thinks together.

"Uh..what's going on? Is there something i'm missing from all this?" I asked curiously as Dan stopped to look at me while Mark was still grabbing things.

"Look I would tell you but I think you should just hear it from him." He said making me rase my eyebrows.

"Who exactly?" 

"Derren." 

I nodded my head slowly wandering why I should ask him about this. I mean is there something that they were hiding from me?

When they were done Dan grabbed me by the arm and pulled me out the door. It didn't hurt but what I was concerned with was why were they rushing? 

"Can you at least explain to me what's going on? I would really like to know since I'm kinda apart of this." I said when we got in the car. Dan looked in the small mirror at me before looking at the rode and starting the car.

"Well since you really wanna know. Derren is trying to track down someone and he wasn't suppose to go alone. Now we have to get to him before anything bad happens. But who knows he could be already injured as we speak  so we need to hurry and find him. I already tracked him down." He explained as he sped down the quiet empty rode.

"So you can't tell me who he's trying to save?" I asked crossing my arms. Mark looked at Dan before at me.

"Sorry kiddo but we can't. You will find out when we get there." He told me before turing around. I huffed at a breath as I can't stand not knowing anything. Is it that important or something that's bad?

I just shook the questions out of my head as I started to feel a little sleepy. I then closed my eyes and fell a sleep.

30 mins later

"Viviana! wake up we found it." I heard a voice call as I slowly opened my eyes.

"What?" I asked looking around to see we were parked somewhere.

"Were here. Now we need to go over some rules first before we go into this building so you have to listen carefully." Dan said as I sat up in the chair rubbing the sleep out of my eyes.

"Ok. I'm listening." I confirmed.

They then started telling me what to do and not to do and I nodded at each one letting them know I get what to do. Basically were trying to break in the building and I can't do anything that will make up get caught.

"Alright let's go." Mark said as we got out the car. We started towards the building and knew this was kinda gonna be easy.

_Didn't feel like explaining what the did such and such, but they didn't do alot so now there finally done and looking for Derren (a.k.a Derek ;)_

When we got to a certain floor we heard talking and we moved towards it. The door was a little open but we could still hear what they were saying.

"I can't believe you..you were alive all this time. How could you fake your death? do you know how mad she will get when she finds out?" I heard a familiar voice say. I then felt like my heart stopped.

"Is..that..Justin?" I asked in a whisper as Dan peaked a little in the room. He then turned to me and smiled. 

"Yes..and someone else too." He said before going inside the room. Me and Mark followed behind and then we saw him.

But with someone I didn't expect and was really shocked to see.

Derek.
