The truth and new friends

Graces POV (outfits for the day ⬆️)

I was in my room thinking about the painting of the queen, and kept on wondering why she looked so much like me and how people kept calling me Lillyannagrace.

I heard a knock on my door, and standing there was Liza and Louis and some other guy.

Louis introduced the guy and it turns out his name is Sam. He had dark brown hair with light blue eyes. Also, Liza seemed very interested whenever he was speaking.

I asked Louis about the painting, and the name thing, and so he told me.

"Well this is about the academy and what this really is. So 17 years ago, the 2 queens that run the school both had a newborn daughter. Their names were Elizabeth and Lillyannagrace. Now at the time, a lot of children with powers like us, were being born but the rest of the society wanted the powers for themselves so they wanted to kill off any new children who were born with special powers. Now the two new princesses had these powers and the queens need someone to eventually take over the throne, so they sent a bunch of children along with the princesses to a different world where they couldn't access their powers unless they came back home. If you haven't noticed already, Liza, your queen Sophia's daughter and Grace your queen Isabella's daughter." He explained.

Me and Liza looked at each other, then the boys.

"So why are we here? Why don't the queens live somewhere else?" Liza asked

This time Sam answered.

"Well back then, the people called it 'the power war' because of the chaos created by Zenos- the one who wants all the power for himself. So he has been capturing any and all teenagers that have powers so he can torture them to death, then drain all of their powers and transfer them into himself so he can become the most powerful. The two queens have every single power- like you two because you are their daughters. Anyone else with all the powers is very rare and most targeted for Zenos to hunt down and capture. So the queens made this castle and paid for extra guards and weapons so we will surely be safe in here and depending on what we want to become, we can fight in the war against Zenos and his 'minions'. Does that make sense?"

Me and Liza nodded and I once again heard a knock on my door. Louis answered it, and it was the two queens. Sophia and Isabella.

They came in with two extra assistants, each holding a crown.

Who are the crowns for if the queens always have theirs on and what are the queens even doing here? I thought.
