Fighting back

Liza's POV

I hid my wings again when Kaya came in to the cave.

Me and Louis did the smart thing and kept on backing up until we were all the way to the wall and Kaya could easily grab us. Which she did.

She still looked half dragon, but more dragon than usual.

And she had that weird voice like a witches but not high pitched and it seemed like a snakes because her 's' always sounded like she was hissing or something. It was really weird.

She flew us down to the ocean and went up high. I now knew what she was going to do and why.

She was going to drop us and since we were so high up, we would hit the water like smacking down on the concrete. And we would most likely die.

Except she had to give a stupid little speech before she dropped us. And her hand was so huge that she could fit the two of us in one.

Graces POV

I got ready, and I knew how to find Kaya.

I went and asked Sam if I could use the globe again, and this time instead of seeing the past of one person, I saw what was going on with 3 people right now.

Kaya was holding Liza and Louis in her one hand over the ocean.

I got up, and ran out of the castle and immediately flew down to the beach to save Liza and Louis.

(Italics is Liza's POV and bold is Graces POV)

"PUT THEM DOWN!" A small ish familiar voice yelled. I knew exactly who it was. And I looked down and sure enough, Grace was down there with an angry but confident look on her face.

"No Grace!" I half yelled

Kaya just smiled and let go off us while laughing.

I ran and flew up just to catch them on time. I let them down safely in the ground, then flew up and was face to face with Kaya in the air.

We had this weird argument while hitting each other with something and it went a little something like this:

"Why are you doing this? Why do you hate us so much?" I asked

I blasted her with a little bit of fire, but she just breathed a bunch back. I blocked it, and we kept on yelling.

"Because you took away my mothers powers and you banned both of my parents from ever seeing anyone ever again!" She yelled back

"We never did that and that isn't true! So why are you doing this?"

I flew higher and kicked her on the top of her head.

She growled and responded
"Because you are all high class and all adored and then there is me! I'm just over here getting yelled at because I didn't kill you guys off in the first place! And on top of that, everyone keeps on judging us dragon hybrids!"

"You think it's easy running a whole entire COUNTRY? No! It's not! And I get that your mad but this will just make this worse. Okay? So just lay back please?"

She just got even more mad, and grabbed me before I could fight back.

I knew what I had to do, and I was willing to do it if it meant saving the kingdom.

What's the only way you put out a flame? With water. And who was I fighting? A FIRE breathing dragon over and OCEAN

What is she....no. She won't.

"Don't!! There's another way Grace!!" I yelled.

"I'm sorry". She whispered. But from all the way down here it just looked like she was mouthing it.

The water came up, and took both Kaya and Grace down.

"GRACE!!!" I yelled while crying.

I ran to the ocean, and dove in with Louis behind me.

It was too dark under here. I went back up and just cried. She was the one I could really trust. She was my best friend. And now. She's gone.
