Graces POV

I finished watching what was on the screen--the part where my father died-- and ran up to my bedroom practically crying like crazy because of what I saw.

I opened up my door and ran up the stairs to my bed and just collapsed and started crying into my pillow.

I heard a small knock, but I just ignored it.

Soon I heard somebody climbing up the staircase to my bed and pretty soon, there was a small dip in the bed and someone was rubbing small circles on my back.

"Hey, what did you see? And why are you crying Grace?"

I figured out it was Louis who came in, and I rolled over so I was facing him, sat up and told him why is was crying.

"I know it's stupid to be sad when my father--the king--died just so me and Liza could be safe. It's just that nobody has ever done anything like that before, and I want to thank him, but he's dead. Also, I'm crying because I saw my fathers death like I was right in front of him in the battlefield. It's just so sad when you experience your own parents dying."

Louis nodded and hugged me really tight.

"I know how you feel. And so does Sam."

I pulled away and asked
"Wait, Sam? What?"

"So you know how he said that he was a bit older than all of us? So the day that this war was really all happening, he was only 3 years old and he saw all the good people who protected our world die. And he also saw his own father die and he never saw his mother after he was sent to earth. Sad huh?"

I nodded and Louis hugged me again.

"Hey Louis?" I asked him, still in his arms.

"What?"

"When I was watching who my father was like, he mentioned someone-- Kaya I think. He said that she was this Zenos guys daughter and that she was dangerous. And right now I would really like to know who the heck they are and where they are now--if you know, that is."

He pulled away, and I looked at him straight int the eyes.

"Zenos and his wife, Zelena, were the ones who wanted to be the best and they wanted the powers all to themselves. Zelena was mad because she wanted Kaya to have special powers like you and Liza do and how her parents did. But instead, Kaya took after her father and ended up being half dragon. So Zelena still wanted powers, and Zenos just wanted glory and to be the best above anyone, so they broke out this crazy war."

I stood up, went down to my walk in closet, and changed into something a bit more comfortable for what I was about to do.
