Powers(book 1)

Part title

So something that helped me create some of the chapters were imagining what could go on inside my head. And something that helped me do that was listening to music.

Most of the chapters have a song that goes on while something is happening, others may not have one.

So here are the songs and the chapters and the parts they go with

But first, let me tell you a little bit more about the characters:

Grace: First, the songs that go with her are: Girl Almighty by One Direction. This song is just upbeat and even though some of the words and phrases don't exactly make sense, it's just like Grace. She's fun, annoying, hyper, funny, and energetic and confusing.

The next song is One Way Or Another by One Direction. It just is another song that's fun and exciting and it reminds me of Grace.

The last one is something a lot different. It represents strength, courage, and kindness almost all in one. This song is called Empire Of Angels by Thomas Bergersen. It's an instrumental song, but it's amazing. It also shows off her warrior side.

I also based her off of myself. Grace is actually my middle name so when I think of Grace, since I based her off of me, I always think to myself whenever stuck: "what would I end up doing in this situation?" Sure she has her dumb blonde moments, she's actually pretty smart once you get it out of her. That's why she was something important in the next book that I can't tell you unless you've read it. :)

Now onto Liza:
She was based off my best friend Emily. She sadly doesn't have deep bright red hair like Liza does in the book, but she's hot pretty decent hair I guess(lol why am I talking about her hair?😂) Anyway, Liza is a pretty sting girl. She hides stuff when she needs and wants too, and occasionally that can get the best of her. She's a little mysterious but when you get to know her she's fun, weird, and trustworthy.

I found one song that's reminded me of her and it is Wings by Little Mix. For me, and for this book, it shows Liza's strong side and how she doesn't care what you think, she's got her side and she'll stick with it no matter what.

Now onto the actual chapter songs:
Sadly, I only have 4. Two of them were technically already used in this book but oh well.

When Grace is battling Kaya: there are two songs.
During the fight: Warriors by Imagine Dragons.
When Grace controls the water and as her and Kaya go down: Ready, Aim, Fire by Imagine Dragons.

The concert:

And
I love you by Alex and Sierra.
