Asleep

Liza's POV

After I was done crying, I remembered something Kelsey taught me and Grace.

I remember that she was showing us how to use multiple powers at once. That's when I got an idea.

I was going to use my water powers to breathe underwater and stay under for a while then I could also use my light powers to see where Grace and Kaya ended up.

I told Louis my plan, and he said he would use his as well.

We both went under, and after a while, Louis tugged on my wrist and pointed to a spot where I immediately recognized something--the silver tip of a wing.

And who has silver tipped wings? Grace.

After Louis had Grace in his arms, we swam back up.

"We have to get her to the hospital. Now." He said

I nodded and he had his elevation powers so he just flew alongside myself with Grace still in his arms.

We flew down and placed her on a bed and got her a room to be examined.

We waited in the waiting room for what seemed like forever when a nurse came back in.

"Mrs. Hale?" My head shot up at the sound of my name.

"Yea? Do you have anything on Grace?"

"Ah yes, Mrs. Winters. We do. Turns out that she is surprisingly just in a coma."

"Surprisingly?"

"Usually people would drown but somehow she is just asleep. We have no idea how that happened but it did."

"Can we see her?" Louis asked
The nurse nodded, and told us the number of the room she was now in. Louis just bolted after he heard what room it was, but I stayed behind and gave the nurse mine and Louis numbers in case anything happened.

I slowly went in and Louis already was in a chair by her bed holding her hand.

I looked at her. Her cheeks seemed less rosy and her hand felt a little cold when my hand brushed over it.

"You think she's gonna wake up?" Louis asked snapping me out of my thoughts.

"I hope so. That's all I have right now. Hope."
