Chapter 27

Harrison was laying on the couch right next to you glancing over trying to figure out what you were thinking.

"I know Haz..." you sighed making him smile "It's just...Ever since we got together again things have been amazing, no one knows, so there's no pressure from media or friends or anything else, and you know that".

"Yeah I do. But the truth is also that if you guys can't be together without hiding it, maybe you're not right for each other. 'cause let's face it...Tom is famous darling...And I don't think he'll ever stop being...So for you to keep this relationship a secret..." he frowned "Like...How are you going to get married and shit while being a secret?" he smirked

"Jezz Harrison" you laughed "Hold your horses! I know what you mean...But everything is so simple like this".

"I know it is...But at the same time, wouldn't it be even easier if you two could actually walk down the streets holding hands?" he had a point.

"I know. I do love him, and I know for sure he loves me back..." you rolled your eyes realizing that everything Tom had said made sense. Why couldn't you two be open about your relationship? Like...Why wouldn't you be able to post cute pictures of him, or just travel together without people asking you shit?! "You're right" you mumbled.

"What?" he said raising both of his eyebrows

"You're fucking right, Harrison... We should be able to do everything a normal couple does..."

Harrison just smiled leaning in and hugging you tightly "I'm glad you came to your senses... So what are you going to do now?" he smiled pulling back.

"I guess I'll just have to talk to him" you smiled getting up "I'm going out, but feel free to stay..We have tones of food" you smirked making your way to your room and putting on some jeans and a black t-shirt and throwing in some white sneakers before walking down and leaving the apartment.

You got into your car and dialed Tom's number.

"Hey" he mumbled.

"Tommy where are you?" you said gently noticing how upset his voice sounded.

"Getting dressed. I told you...I have an interview for Cherry right now" he sighed.

"Oh yeah... Want me to come?" you asked knowing that even he if said no you would just go anyway.

"Whatever...Do whatever you want to Y/N" he spat before hanging out.

You started the car driving towards the Jimmy Kimmel studios feeling your heart in your mouth. You just wanted to catch him before he went on stage, your whole body was shaking in anxiety, but you just took a deep breath as you parked your car. You put on the sunglasses so the sun didn't hit you in the eyes and walked as fast as possible entering the studios easily since everyone knew you would always tag along with Tom.

"Tom" you yelled as you saw him getting up from his make-up chair ready to go in.

"What are you doing here?" he said running a hand through his hair.

"You said do whatever I wanted. So I came" you smiled grabbing his hand. He just stood still looking at you like he was expecting something "I'm sorry" you began "You're right. I'm not being fair... It shouldn't be a big deal. We should be able to walk the street without worrying about if anyone will comment on that.." 

Tom's face changed immediately as a smile came across his face "So what does that mean?" he said getting closer to you.

"It means..." you sighed looking into his eyes "It means that I know...this works...right? I mean..."

"It works" he stopped you smiling "And we know it works for a long time"

"So...What I'm trying to say is that... I don't care...Not anymore" you said as your heart started to beat faster before he leaned over and kissed your cheek making you nervous with all those people around you.

"Holland! You're up" a voice called across the room.

"Gotta go. Wait for me" he smiled.

"Always do" you smiled before he walked away.

Tom walked into the set making the crowd applause and scream, he just waved at them and sat down next to Jimmy.

"Tom! How are you??" Jimmy said sitting down at the same time.

"Great as always Jimmy. And you?" he asked back.

"Amazing! So, we see you've been busy? Tell us about your new movie Cherry"

"Oh. I think it's an amazing movie!" he laughed "It's completely different from what I'm used to do and the Russo Brothers are amazing, and I can not not talk about Ciara! She's the sweetest girl, and amazing to work with" Tom smiled.

"So what's the story about?" Jimmy asked leaning against his chair.

"It's basically about the consequences the army brings. I think not everyone knows how people come back from war, and how it affects them" Tom said resting his hand on one knee.

"So it's completely different from Spiderman" Jimmy laughed making Tom chuckle.

"Well Yeah" he laughed "Kinda...I mean...Still lots of violence" 

"Tom...We need to settle this up" Jimmy said as Tom smirked knowing what was coming.

You stood still behind the curtain that leads to the set smiling at your boyfriend.

"Bring it on" Tom smirked.

"So...It's no secret how the last couple of years treated you, but we see you're different...You're nice again" Jimmy laughed "And the rumors are...It's because there's someone new in your life" Tom smirked licking his lower lip "And we heard it's your co-star...Zendaya" he said as the audience screamed.

"Well Jimmy.... Some of it it's true...I'm nice again indeed" Tom smiled "But...Even tho Zendaya it's an amazing friend and person, the kindest, we're just friends..." Tom smiled.

"So...There's no one in your love life?" Jimmy raised an eyebrow.

"Well... There is..." Tom sighed smiling.

"Tell us all about her" Jimmy pushed in.

Tom glanced over at you, with sparkles in his eyes making your heart fill up with fire. This was your meant to be. This was it. It only took one minute, but it felt like a whole hour as thousands of thoughts invaded your mind. You looked straight into his eyes and nodded with a smile giving him the green light as the biggest smile came across his face.

"Well Jimmy. You all know her already" Tom smiled as Jimmy raised both of his eyebrows in surprise.

"Are you telling us..."

"Yes. It's Y/N. It's always been her" Tom said as his cheeks turned red hearing the audience applause. "She's definitely the one. She's always been my best friend, always supported me in everything I ever did, and never failed me. I was a dick a few years ago, and she found a way to forgive me... We've been together for the last year now" he smiled looking again at you.

"Well...You know what they say... The first love is always the strongest" Jimmy smiled looking at you "Hey Y/N. Wanna join in?" he smiled waving at you.

"C'mon darling" Tom said getting up walking over at you and grabbing your hand.

"Tom... I don't know" you mumbled.

"I got you. I'll always got you" he said kissing your hand before you walked on set with him.

"Welcome Y/N" Jimmy smiled as you sat down "I think we're all really excited about this. I mean. You're proving lots of things".

"Well Jimmy, it's a pleasure to be here... And as Tom said. This is it.

The audience went crazy, and for the rest of the interview, Tom never let go of your hand making you feel the safest.

"You're my ending," Tom said as you walked out of the set and hugged him.

"I love you".
