Tom was smiling like he didn't in years and you could hear the screams echoing and the lights flashing making you lose balance, but Tom didn't let you go for one split second, his hand on your back and checking on you every minute with the sweetest smile.
"How lovely is this. Feels like deja vu" Robert said stepping closer to you and kissing your cheek. "I see you're taking care of our Thomas".
"I think he can take care of himself Robert" you chuckled.
"Nah. I think we already saw what happens when he tries to" he smiled glancing over at Tom who rolled his eyes with a smile.
"C'mon love birds, this way" Robert smile walking behind you.
"Just friends Robert" Tom said looking at you.
You three walked slowly giving the photographers the chance to flash you never taking your smiles of.
"Tom can you answer some questions?" a woman shouted holding a microphone as Tom approached.
"Hey!" he smiled.
"We see you came with Y/N. Does that means you two are together again?" the woman asked not even trying to go easy on it.
"No." Tom laughed looking at you and calling you with his hand making you walk over to them and smiling "Y/N and I are just good friends. We came to terms a while ago, and decided that after all those years, we wouldn't want to lose our friendship! She was always so supportive of me and she's an amazing friend!" he smiled.
"So the rumors are false? I mean, the whole world saw how you changed after Y/N moved away back to London" she spat as Tom frowned his eyebrows and held your hand making you notice he was starting to shake.
"I mean... I think it's time to put some things on the past, that's where they belong..." you said making her turn her head towards you "We're both adults who can talk things through. And as Tom said, we decided we didn't want to lose our friendship".
As the woman was about to speak again, you turned your back pulling Tom with you not stopping until you walked inside the theater.
"You good?" you asked as he smiled.
"Yeah. Thank you baby" he mumbled kissing your wrist before walking to his seat waiting for you to sit down before him. "Nobody said it would be easy. We both knew what was going to happen right?" he chuckled.
"Yeah. People are still way too fond of us. I mean. I don't get it. We're just friends" you laughed before the lights went down.
Almost one year had gone by since the Endgame premiere, and surprisingly your relationship with Tom was stronger than ever, still hidden away from the world tho. None of you both knew how you had managed to keep it a secret for that amount of time, and there were times, where it was just terrible to have to keep it low, or not being able to kiss him in public.
"Babe, have you seen this?" Tom walked into the living room laying down on the couch next to you and showing you his phone with a picture of him and Zendaya on some interviews from Spiderman: Far from home captioned with "Tondaya is real! The co-starts reveals that they have been in love since day one".
"Shit" you laughed "You're cheating on me with my girl?"
"C'mon babe... I'm tired of this" he sighed resting his head on your stomach.
"Okay. So what do you wanna do?" you raised an eyebrow as you stroke his hair.
"Honestly I just wanted to tell the world about us... How madly in love I still am with you" he pouted making you smile.
"Tommy... you know what will happen. The story will repeat itself" you mumbled.
"Yeah...I know... I'm just tired of people asking if we're dating and I have to lie"
Suddenly the idea came to your mind. "What if we gave them a reason for them not to ask anymore....?"
"Hm...." he got up sitting straight looking at you "What do you mean?"
"I mean... If you're tired of lying whenever they ask...Let's make them believe it's true and giving them proof..." you smiled "Zendaya is one of my best friends, and Harrison is yours.. What if we asked them to... fake date us..." you said as tom clenched up his jaw.
"I would fake date Zendaya, and you... would fake date Haz....?" he sounded bitter but you stood still looking at him. "No. I hate it" he shook his head.
"Tommy c'mon think about it... No one would ever ask us anything and we both know we would be in good hands with both of them..."
"No Y/N. I'm not gonna pretend to date anyone else but you. I love you and I fucking want the world to know it for fuck sake. I'm getting tired of this shit" his voice got higher making you frown.
"Tom c'mon" you mumbled.
"No. It has almost been one fucking year, and we're still doing this pathetic little game! You seen how good we work, we made our terms, we talked about shit, and I proved it...I proved it to you I wasn't a dick anymore. What else do you want me to do?!" he yelled getting up and turning away leaving you alone.
You sighed as you heard the front door closing and his car starting. He was right. You both had proved to each other that whatever had happened was in the past and that you actually worked pretty well together. But there was something that made you nervous and you didn't even know what. You grabbed your phone calling Harrison who picked up right away.
"Can you come over?" you asked calmly.
"Sure. Everything ok?" you said in a sleepy voice.
"Not really. Need some wise advice" you chuckled.
"Be there in 10" he said before hanging up.
Harrison made himself proud as he only took the actually 10 minutes to get to your apartment walking in without even knocking.
"What up" he smiled jumping on top of you making you laughed.
"I pissed off Tom" you said.
"Yeah I know... He called me right after you..." he raised an eyebrow looking at you "I mean...As much honor I'd be on being your fake boyfriend... He's right...And you know it..."
