Chapter 14: Wicked Bitch

Third Person POV

In a land filled to the GRIMM (HA! IM NOT FUNNY!) with darkness sat a pale queen, watching over her demonic children. But, also, she had lost her only Maiden, and has felt a terrifying power in Vale. At first, she didn't recognize it, but knew who it was: Fear itself.

The Queen of Grimm, the Goddess of the Soulless, Salem, felt fear.

One of her "compatriots", Tyrian, walked inside the main room, which held a large table for the other members. She sat at the end, in her throne like chair. 

Tyrian: "Y-yes, My Goddess?"

Salem: "Find out who the new fall Maiden is, now."

Tyrian scurries out, bowing. Salem gets rid of her angry facade, as a wave of uncertainty fills her empty heart. She gets reminded of the men who cursed her...

And the one that nearly took that away.

And now she's getting reports from all over telling her that his followers are popping up again. Great...just what she needed: a dead Maiden, two unwilling slaves, and the fear she locked away eons ago. She stands, watching over the Grimm Lands as her fear settles in.

Salem: "Yami Omo...damn you!"

At Beacon

Y/N and Nora were talking pancake plans when all of a sudden, Glynda comes in to take him to the front office.

Y/N: "Talk later?"

Nora: "Yup!"

They go to Ozpins, and they take the Void God down to their hidden vault, although apparently it's not the same on the Maiden can access.

Y/N: "Huh, so you can do smart things."

Oz: "Hahaha, I suppose I can."

Y/N: "So, this is where the last one was, huh?"

Oz: "Yes. We've kept her stable, but...well, that's about all we've done."

Y/N: "Hm...y'know, it's weird that the other half went to the person Cindy last thought about instead of this chick."

Glynda: "Now that you mention it...you're right. Why did it do that?"

Oz: "I don't know. I can only guess it's still basing itself off the original magic path."

Y/N: "That's annoying. Oh well. Eh, this is an easy fix."

Glynda: "How? It's a half broken soul."

Y/N: "Pssh, and?"

Glynda: "Wha?"

Y/N: "Do you even know who you're talkin' to? I mean, I'm a genius after all~! (Good thing she won't know that I just lied.)"

Glynda: "...I need to sleep."

Y/N: "It's the afternoon."

Glynda: "I know."

Glynda goes back up the elevator, tired. Y/N and Ozma sit down, looking at the barely alive woman in front of them.

Y/N: "...I wonder..."

Ozma: "Wonder what?"

Y/N: "Nothin, j-just...eh, fuck it. I'm gonna go back up for pancake talk. Good luck bein' a stalker or whatever."

Ozma chuckles, as Y/N leaves.

Ozma: "You truly have changed, Y/N."
