Art isn't mine, which should be a "nah shit" kinda thing, so none of this art is mine. This chapter has been updated for a better reading experience.

Your POV

Man, these guys either have some severe issues, or giant sticks up their asses. I'm going with the issues thing because none of them seem to have anything poking out from their posteriors. Not that I can see, at least...unless- Blake?! How scandalous.

We're at the old cuck- apologies, the cobweb master's office, and Ruby's team, Team JNPR, Cobby, and the busty professor Glynda are staring at Ruby and I's direction. Except Nora. She was dozing off. Standing up. I must admit, if it wasn't from the serious air in the room, I would've started clapping for her impressive skill. Yang, Glynda, and Weiss glare at me, Pyrrha, Blake, and Ren look passive about it (with a small leg quiver from Blake, might I add), Jaune (the pathetic one) is looking meekly at me, his forehead drenched with sweat and his legs crossed like he'll shit himself, and Cobwebber just watches me with a careful eye.

Oz: "So...Y/N..."

"Yeah? Whaddya want?"

The three Glarin' Girls (that sounds like a mid 2000's girl band for some reason) aim their weapons at me, ready to (lose a) fight.

Glynda: "Excuse me young man...thing...whatever you are! You are in no position to have that kind of tone!"

Oz: "Glynda, Ms. Xiao Long, and Ms. Schnee, please put away your weapons."

Yang: "Why?! What if he tries somethin'?!"

"Please, do quit your incessant yelling. I can hear your banshee like screams from here just fine, thank you."

Yang raises her fist, gauntlet at the ready, until Ozpin himself grabs her wrist.

Yang: "What the-?!"

Oz: "Please, Ms. Xiao Long, it's fruitless. You'd only agitate him at best.. He cannot be physically harmed by any kind of weapon, nor most of any semblance." He sits down, sighing. "Are any of you familiar with the classic literature stories?"

Blake, Weiss, Ren, and surprisingly Nora all raise their hands.

Ozpin: "Are you, then, aware of the Tale of Crossroads?"

Blake: "Th-the one about the Scarred Dark Messiah...?!"

It seems I've gotten more popular than I remember. I do hope he's written the tale to include my exquisite form and physique. I am beautiful, after all~

Ren: "I've read it before, back in...my old hometown. One day, a man came across a well filled with darkness, and drank deep it's contents. However, soon he was taken over by it's prowess, his previously sated thirst now back in full force and wanting to wreak havoc across Remnant. He was stopped by a warrior of silver, and a God with the power to destroy anything that came his way. Villages, mountains, forests. All that once stood in his path was burned into nothing but space, as if it never existed."

Weiss: "The book says after the Fell Man was slain, the God lost it and decided to go about planetary extinction, only being stopped by the Silver Warrior after countless lives have been lost, erased, and countless worse other acts. He was a being of pure malice and evil, saying his end brought a new era of prosperity among Remnant."

...it seems the author of this tale may have gotten QUITE a lot of facts right. I'm not THAT evil, humanity's flawed itself. Yet they always spin the evil on things they have no understanding of...fools.

Oz: "Yes, all correct. Believe or not, this figure before us...is the very same that was sealed away eons ago. The very same that reduced much of our planet uninhabitable, and ushered in an age of peace for humanity through vile acts."
