Your POV

What happened in there?

I lost it.

Why? How the hell?

I'm currently on top of a roof in Vale, sitting down.

"Dammit...why does this hurt? They're just some stupid fucking mortals...I'M A GOD, DAMMIT!"

I punch the roof, and the whole thing collapses, so I go on a different one. I sigh, and just cover my head.

"I'm...a God...stupid fucking emotions..."

Maybe I should stay out here for a while. Yeah, sounds like a good idea.

Ruby's POV

I hope she makes it...

Why'd he do that?

I don't understand...

I'm with Yang, but the doctors said they'd need a few hours to...to lessen the damage. Her now frail aura's just barely keeping her alive. Weiss and Blake are here with me as I sob in my arms. I'm speaking, yelling, shouting, but I can't hear myself anymore. Eventually, I just stop, and stare at the floor.

I know we all tried to warn her. We really did. Why'd she try to fight him? I thought they could be friends, and now...he nearly killed her...

...

He nearly killed her.

The realization hits me, and I start to cry again, but...I know what I'm shouting this time.

"Y/NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!"

Timeskip...2 Months Later.

It's finally Yang's time to get out of the hospital. I've visited every day I could, and eventually, got better mentally as well...sort of. When I step into the room, Yang had looked like a mess, but a lot better than before. She had those sickening burns all over her arms and torso, a bit on her cheek.

Yang: "Hey, Rubes." She smiles lightly, and I hug her. She hugs back, rubbing my head and chuckling.

Yang: "I look like a wreck, huh?"

"Just a little."

Yang: "Heh...maybe that's why Dad always said I should never play with fire."

I groan at the terrible attempt at a joke, and she just chuckles.

Yang: "Is...he still gone?"

I don't say anything, but she nods anyhow.

Yang: "Right, sorry...let's go back to Beacon. I'm sure everyone's been dying to see me!"

That one got a small giggle out of me.

At Beacon

When me and Yang show up, everyone bombarded her with questions and sympathy, as well as joy. I smiled on the outside, but was still full of questions. And not really getting a lot of answers here. Yang shows off her new arm, which got replaced by cybernetics. She said she didn't mind it, and even did an arm wrestle with Nora. While it was nice seeing her like this, the weight of all the pain he caused still felt...well, heavy. What would happen if...

If he came back?

No, I shouldn't think about him right now. My big sister is back, and I'm happier for it. Maybe she was right to not trust him.
