narrator's pov...
it's the friday before the christmas break, carols and festivity swarming throughout the entire school. well, almost entirely.it's been just under a week since indy kissed izzy and there is nothing but painful silences and even more painful 'hi's i an attempt to fill the empty void of their unspoken words.
izzy has had no one. her mum is too busy caring for her dad to think about izzy – or at least it feels that way to her. obviously she's thankful that her dad's 'accident' only resulted in a broken leg and a 3-day coma which her dad likes to call a 'life experience', so she feels selfish when she thinks no one cares.
but people do care, and indy cares more than anyone.
a/n: god im sorry this is so bad... i guess i just needed to write this chapter to fill you in on what's actually happened. i'll hopefully publish chapter 17 later this evening! :)
