The ringing of church bells ringed trough the kingdom, telling the towns people it was time for the ceremony. Lots of people gathered for this special event, it wasn't something you would see very often so this was a special event what made it more special was that Y/N L/N was getting married the quite yet ruthless girl always in for the trill. But today she didn't have this happy face on today why you might ask well she was forced into a marriage, leaving her in a dress she didn't wish to wear with a man she didn't desire to marry but she had no choice Duke Croix her father forced her into it, reason she didn't know and when she asked why she would get scolded for the so called 'stuiped question',

"What to I do? That person is coming", She says deep into thoughts as she unknowingly bites her lip drawing a bit of blood. "It seems that the royal family us proposing a marriage between him and the princess". "He might be coming here to divorse you, my lady", The maid answered the girl. She was still in her own world but still heard the maid making her think a little more, " Why is he coming to divorse me if I hadn't get or hear any new from him in the past three years?", She says as she got angered at something she couldn't control but didn't show it. She was going to continue what she was saying when the door flung open showing her father having this pissed off face visible on his face. The maid stud up bowing at the sight of him as you Y/N stud up as well not to disrespect him. You're father walked over to you having his cane in hand, he stoped right in front of her lifting the cane up as it landed on her shoulder making her hiss in pain. "I've warned you countless times about that disgusting habit!", Duke yells making Y/N and the maid flich. He tsked at the girls 'uselessness',then he opened his mouth again. "Riftan Calypse, that bastard is no longer a petty lowly knight!", He exclaimed in rage. "He's the sword master who defeated the red dragon sect!". "The temple will allow him to divorse if so he wants!", He says as he got this glim in his eyes. "To add to that, he's already tangled with the princess!", He adds and he pinched the bridge of his nose.Y/N flinched at him raging as she despised being scared of a old man but she had good reasons to be scared.

"I can't believe you couldn't even keep a man by your side! If only you were half of your younger sister Rosetta, I wouldn't even have to worry!", He yells getting madder and madder by the second. She started to get mad at him, an old man was getting under her skin and she hated it! She knew if she talked back she would be in bigger trouble but it slipped out before she thought of the consequences. "But, he left immediately the day after the wedding!", She yells but kept her head low not daring to make eye contact. He was enraged with her smart mouth as he clenched it teeth as he lifted his cane again getting a good swing before landing it on her shoulder he hit earlier making her knees buckle making her go on her knees huffing for air. "Don't even think of talking back to me. Just think about your horrible habit ingratiates me!", He yells as he turned away from her not feeling any type of sympathetic in his heart. "For the sake of the Croix family, I will not allow you to be divorced by a commoner knight! I won't let the family become a laughingstock because of this stuiped daughter, STAY MARRIED!", He yells again as he lifted his cane again to give a beating.

But he was cut off by a guard, "Milord! The order of knights have arrived!", He stops and lowers his cane to the ground. "Even is king Ruben wants him as his son-in-law,it'll only happen if the other party agrees!", The old man said glancing at the girl on the floor holding her arm in pain. He takes a pause, then continues " If you can't stop the divorse, you shall pay the price", He says having a cold eye as a sorcerer heals the young lady. " I can't leave matters to this worthless thing! I have to meet him first! Guide them to the study!", He orders and he slammed his cane on the ground making a echo go through the room. Once he left the room and her arm was feeling a bit better she got up and went to the window just to take a look out. As she was looking outside she say her reflection making her look away not wanting to see more of herself.

Three years ago at the wedding I remember people congratulating me people talking to each other about me and my husband, then people started gossiping about how greedy our family was. Wasn't this day suppose to be my escape from the hell I call home? Or was it just going to get worse and worse as the days got by? I kept asking myself that day not being able to enjoy myself, just me and my thoughts. I thought nothing could get any worse I was wrong perusal father telling me not to fuck anything up and to put a happy face on and not my non emotional one, as if I was a machine in his control. He had this non emotional face on, matching mine. He then walks over to me and opened his mouth as he stoped in front of me. " I know you hate me, but you still have to fulfill your duties", He takes a pause and looks at me like he's trying to memorize every little detail of me. "Tell me if you don't want to. I won't force you. Do you want me to get out?", Riftan says looking down at me awaiting for my answer. I look at him in the eyes and then answer him. "No", I say looking dead in the eyes. The next thing I wasn't expecting he took off his shirt showing off his sexy- I mean toned body.
