" You're already out of spirit because the expedition's over. Don't think of putting the sword down until you've finished your quota today. All right?". " What happened last night?", The blonde guy asked. " Ha! What a morning. He's like that since dawn. It's Been a while since we've trained like this", The guy with the red hair added on. " Did someone get on his nerves?" ( A/N: Nah he just didn't get laid ;)) As Riftan looked up he saw Y/N...

" Eh?"

As you looked back a Riftan you see him all soft and shy...' what's that look?' ' I can't get used to it' ' I'd rather fight the devil!'. As Riftan looked back up he saw Y/N walking back into the castle. Making him frown before turning around. " Leader, where are you going?", One of them asked.

As me and Rodrigo made our way back inside felt a hand grab my wrist and pulling me back. Turning around I see that Riftan somehow made his wa yup here... " Why are you leaving without greeting me?", He asked as he lowed himself. " I was looking around the castle with Rodrigo. I didn't want to disturb you...", I explained to him as I looked up to him. " You're not disturbing". ' No, I think it's disturbing enough!'. " You can all take an hour off and resume training after! Rest at the annex!", Riftan commanded. " Yes, Sir!" " Now I'll guide you", Riftan said as he held my hand guiding me inside.

As we are walking around the castle my hands start to get uncomfortable making me stop. I feel him stop as well confused on why I stopped before seeing me fixing how our hands were positioned. I let go of his hand before intertwined our fingers together and squeezing is shut. I look back up to him with a smile before continuing to walk together. As we are walking I remember that I feel asleep on Riftan last night... I cover my face with my other hand in embarrassment as Riftan came to a stop looking down at me confused. " What's wrong?", He asked. " I'm sorry for uh falling asleep on my yesterday...", I said in an embarrassed tone. " Ah... it's ok", He said. I knew I left him uhhh I knew he wanted something last night from the actions he did last night but I didn't want to bring it up and make things awkward. "... You were exhausted from the long journey. There's not need to apologize", He said. " But I didn't do anything, I thought you would be more tired than I was and, and you did most of the work", I explained. "... rather than tired, I'm full of energy", He coughed out. " W-What?", I asked confused. " Nothing. Let's go", He said before letting go of my hand making me frown.

" Every day, the guards patrol the castle over the quilted walls, climb the watchtower and keep an eye on the perimeter. No matter what enemy appears, this castle will never be in danger", Riftan explained with a smile on his face as he held my waist. " Ah that's nice to hear", I say as I have a small smile on my face. I look around before seeing a tower on the far end. " What's that?", I ask as I point at the tower. " Ruth's resides in that tower. It's closer to the mountains, therefore a convenient place for casting magic in, just in case. Don't get close to it for any reason. Ruth installed outlandish magic circles all over the place, causing occasional trouble", He explained. " A magic circle?", I ask as I looked back at Riftan. ".....Nevermind", He said in a firm voice. " All right....... I'll read about it later", I sighed out. " Haa... Are you bored? I'm not very good at this. I don't know how to treat a woman...", He sighed out embarrassed. " What? I'm not bored...", I replied.

You don't know how to treat a woman.... I doubt that. I must be tiring, but he's still putting up with me. There's no way I'm bored with such a nice guy around. Everyone was talking about how cool he was in the Croix castle. You've probably have had many experiences with women....

" What's wrong? Why are you frowning?", He asked as he lifted my chin with his hand. " Oh, it's uh the wind is a little cold...", I lied. He just grabbed my shoulder and pulled me to his chest. I let out a half chuckle before wrapping my arms around his waist and pulling me closer. I felt him stiffen as I did that making me look up to him. " You didn't like that...?", I asked as I looked up at him tilting my head to the side. " huh? Oh uh no, no it's fine, finee", He said as he blushed furiously. " You should have worn thicker garments. It's colder in Anatol", He mumbled the last part.

" Do you like your dress?", He asked as he wrapped both of his arms around me trying to keep me warm. " I do like it...", I said. I almost said I've never seen anything as pretty... " I'll buy you hundreds of them", He said in a soft tone as he held my cheek in his hand making me look up at him. Sure as hell doesn't sound like a man who is unfamiliar with women... " Is this your habit?", I ask as I pulled back a bit but still had my hands on his waist. " What?" " That you'll get me whatever I ask for". " It's not lip service. I told you before that I would go to lengths to make sure you live luxuriously as you did as your father's castle. Here, in Anatol", He answered simply. I feel as shiver go up my spine my neck ticked forward. I feel this lump form in my throat. " Can we go back in?", I ask as I start feeling nauseous. " Do you feel tired?", He asked. "...Uh yea". " Then let's go", He said as he turned around making me loose grip of my waist. What if he finds out i'm not a noble woman? How will he react? Can I really be with him? Those thoughts flooded my mind as I slowly start walking behind him as he looked at the view.

" Y/N", I hear as I looked over in front of me again as I see Riftan with his hand out with a smile on his face.

I guess this is my home now.
