After the twins real identity have been revealed, Vladimir betrayed everyone by joining his evil father, Dracula. Gilbert stayed with the group, though he pretty much avoids talking to them.
In the late night, Sumire couldn't sleep because she was worried about something.
Sumire: *Tried to get some sleep* .......... (...Gilbert... he's a Demon...) *Silently sat up* (...And his father...his aura is so powerful like Vlad-kun...Gilbert look really scared back then...I wonder...if he did something to them in the past...)
She gave up trying to get some sleep so she decided to go outside to get some fresh air. When she arrived however, she spotted Gilbert sitting on a bench. He seems to be looking down.
Gilbert: ............
Sumire: ...Gilbert...?
Gilbert: *Jump in surprise* ....!!? *Silently look away* ........
Sumire: Gilbert...
Gilbert: G-go away... don't get near me.
Sumire: *Stood there silently before approaching him & hug him from behind*
Siro: !?
Sumire: ...You know I can't do that, especially when I'm your girlfriend. *Tighten her hug*
Gilbert: .......... (Her warmth...is so addicting...stop it...stop giving me that kindness to me...I don't deserve it...) *Stood up & reject Sumire's hug*
Sumire: Gilbert...?

Gilbert: ........... *Look at his hands* ...I...we killed people with our own hands because of... Dracula. Our family are pure evil. Sumire: *Quickly approaching him, grab his collar & kiss him on the lips*
Siro: *Widen his eyes* --!?

Sumire: If you are so heartless and emotionless, then...why would you saved everyone back then...? And even like me that way...? I don't believe that...you were forced to do something terrible because you're...scared of him right...?
Gilbert: ......... *Silently nod* He... tortured me if I do something he don't like...so I...was forced to follow him...but Vlad fought back for me to gain freedom... *Chuckle bitterly* ... It's my fault that he decided to go there... I'm too dependent on him...
Sumire: *Stroke his cheek* Then...you have to fight back Gilbert...for him. All of us want some answers why he decided to go with your father. It's something you can do right..?
Gilbert: That would've be easy if my opponent is not Dracula...but... *Grip his hands* ...If it's for getting Vlad back...
Sumire: *Smile*

Sumire: *Rest her head on his shoulder* ...I will stay beside you whenever you like it or not.
Gilbert: *Chuckle softly*
They spent their time together for a while before deciding to go to bed for the night. Without them knowing, Vladimir was watching them...
