Xenon was alone at his home for the whole day and he was feeling really bored. He decided to go to his parent's room and look for anything fun.
Xenon: *Rummaging the bookshelf* Ahh there's nothing to read...?
The minute he pulled a book that titled "Memories of Us", suddenly the bookself started to move. He took a step back and revealed a secret room.
Xenon: Whoa...a secret room!? I didn't know they have a secret room here...
His curiosity get the best of him and he decided to go inside. He walk around before he spotted a clothing hanging inside the case.
Xenon: I never seen this clothes before...hm? *Saw a picture of Siro wearing that same outfit* Dad wore this clothes...? But when? I never saw him wearing it before... *Took the picture & look at it closer* ...Ah... it's the time when Dad are still travelling with Uncle Vlad...
He then spotted an old purple fox mask that was similar to Vladimir's old fox mask.
Xenon: This is... it looks exactly the same as Uncle Vlad's...except it's purple. By any chance...is this room contains items of the past...? *Excited* I might learn more about my family...!
He then actively look for everything that linked to his family. When he went to the bookshelf, he noticed that most of the books were magic spells. He excitedly took one book and reads it.
Xenon: Amazing...! I didn't know most of the spells here...! *Notice something dropped* Huh? *Took the paper* ...What is this...? This is Dad's handwriting... "Books that Xenon should never learn...?"
He reads the list of the books that Siro didn't want Xenon to read. The one that was especially caught his eyes were "Family History" and "Forbidden Spells."
Xenon: Family History huh...I can understand why he don't want me to know about forbidden spells but I wonder why Dad didn't want me to know...
He then started to look for that said book, found it and start reading it.
Xenon: "Orfeo Family are one of the strongest Demons that ever existed. They are feared and well known for stealing other Demons special powers and then kill them with cold blood." *Raise an eyebrow* Stealing other Demon's power...? I don't know about that... *Cough* "They are also known for having many...wives!?" Damn that's weird...I mean, I can't stop them but having too many wives is a huge thing...
He then spotted a paper, written in Siro's handwriting.
Xenon: *Read the paper* "...There is a chance that our stepbrothers or stepsisters are alive...?" Are you telling me that my grandfather married to many female demons out there? *Shook his head* ... Let's continue... *Read the book* "Though it's only for power. The most worst demon of all, Dracula publicly said that he only saw his family as weapons. He even said that he killed most of his wives and children to gain power." Ugh... he's rotten to the core I see...
When he flipped a page, he noticed some unfamiliar handwriting on that bookpage.
Xenon: "I finally have the strongest weapons of all. These two things have the potential to help me gaining power..." This is... don't tell me it's Dracula's handwriting...? And he must have referred to Dad and Uncle Vlad... *Cough* "These two have inherited powers I have stolen from other Demons compared to wretched things I have to deal with. I must train them so they can protect and die for me when necessary." Oh my god... he's really sick. He only say them as decoys and weapons...
He flipped the page and saw the information about Vladimir and Siro
Xenon: Uncle Vlad and Dad...? Let's see... "So far, these subject are the most perfect weapons I have ever created. They have inherited my powers and also have the ability to steal other Demon's powers...and also life. They can stored a lot of mana in their bodies and fast learners. Heh...it won't be long when I will finally be a Demon that rules the Demon Realm..." Hm...special demon family skills huh...? I wonder what powers do we actually have...?
He then took out another paper from the book.
Xenon: ...This is... *Read the paper* ..."The Real Special Orfeo Family Skill, "Give & Take." They can steal any kind of powers and even take the victims life with their own free will by grabbing the victims. They also can give the powers they stole to anyone..." *Widen his eyes* That's...the skill that I have been using to save people...that was our special family skills!? Is that why Dracula killed... that's unforgivable...!!
He heard a thud from behind so he naturally reacted to it. He saw Siro and Sumire look at him in horror.
Xenon: Ah...M-mom...Dad...?
Sumire: Xenon...how did you find this room...?
Siro; *Spotted the book he was holding* Xenon...did you read that two books...?
Xenon: Ah...well uh...y-yes...
Siro; .......
Sumire: Gilbert...?
Siro; ....Xenon, you're grounded for a week.
Xenon: Wh-what--!? Why!?
Siro; Because you've been rummaging things and made a mess, that's why. And...looking at the books that I didn't want you to know.
Xenon: But Dad! Don't I have to know about our family history at some point!?
Siro: You. Are. Grounded. *Walk away*
Xenon: Wh-wha--!? Wait...! *Frown* .....But I want to know more...
Sumire: ...Gilbert don't want you to know more about their family history than you already are.
Xenon: But...I already know that Dracula treated them like things...
Sumire: Yes but...the main reason that he didn't want you to know more was because he's aware of what you will do if he let you get really mad.
Xenon: What...?
Sumire: ...He didn't want you to hurt someone who didn't even do anything wrong to you. *Look down* ...You suffered from Devour so if he let you know how much pain and suffering they have been through because of Dracula, you would have almost kill someone...like back then...and just now. You look ready to kill somebody...
Xenon: Ah.... *Look down* ...I see. Dad was worried that I might kill someone without realizing it...
Sumire: *Nod* ...But you're still grounded Xenon for rummaging our things.
Xenon: Aaaaaaaaaahhh!!! Nooooooo!!!
