Deku 💚

Title: I thought you loved me~

This will have a little bit of angry in it so- hold on! And since Deku is pretty much a pure angle, I won't do too much

Deku and y/n l/n have been friends ever since they can remember. They've grown feelings for one another as time grew by.

Deku, being shy and all, never thought you would say yes to him asking you out. But- SURPRISE!!

Now you guys have been together for a couple years. Everything has been great!

But...not in the last couple weeks. One time, your boyfriend saw you hanging out with Kirishima, and he took it the wrong way.

You've tried to explain to him that he's just a great friend. Since Deku is sensitive, he...he didn't listen quite well.

"Deku! Why would I cheat on you? I wouldn't stoop that low- ever!"

"Are you sure he's ONLY a friend? I saw the way he looked at you!" Deku snapped, hurt showing in his green eyes.

"So- you're saying friends aren't supposed to look at one another unless it's okay by one's partner?" Why was he acting so selfish?

"I'm done talking to you", Deku said.

"But- can't we just talk through this-"

"I said I'm done!" He raised his voice at you, which he NEVER does.

"Fine", your voice came out quiet as you were close to crying.

You turned and walked out without saying another word. Why was he acting like this?

Grabbing your jacket, you put it on, and walk out of your house. You were going to see one of your better friends...

Mina Ashido! She will always be there when you need her.

You knocked on her front door and waited for her to open up. But, how would you explain-

"Y/n! How's my- wait...are you okay?" She notices that you're not smiling like normal. "Did something happen with you and Deku?"

"Yeah... I wanna talk to you about it", you said, wiping your cheek as you felt a tear trickling down your cheek.

"Of course! I'll be right here. Tell me all about it!" She led you by taking your hand and walking you to the couch. "Now- tell Mama Mina what's going on"

"Okay...so, a couple weeks ago Deku saw me hanging out with Kirishima. And- the way Kirishima supposedly looked at me, Deku didn't take very much liking to it. I've tried explaining to him! I don't know why he won't listen..."

"Awe, I'm sorry! But- have you heard of his past relationship?"

"Um, n-no... He hasn't told me anything about that", you said skeptical.

"Well- obviously this was before we met you. He got with Uruaka, and...she was cheating on him with Bakugou behind his back. He found out and she tried denying the whole thing"

"Oh- that's probably why he's acting the way he is acting..." Dang- who knew?

You came back home a couple hours later. But- when you came home- you didn't find Deku at first.

You looked in your room- he wasn't there. His room- not there.

As you walked more down the hall, you heard sniffling. Wait- was he crying?

You followed the noise to a closed bathroom door. In there, you heard him crying and mumbling under his breath.

"I thought she loved me..." You have never heard his voice sound so sad.

"Deku baby? Are you okay?" You slowly opened the door and peeked inside.

"S-sorry for...o-overreacting, back there", he said, quickly wiping his tears.

"It's...it's okay", you said knowingly. "But you gotta believe me when I say he's just a friend, okay?" You kissed him on the nose, and he calmed down.

"Okay, y/n. I'm sorry", he said, resting his head on your shoulder in slight shame.

"It'll be okay, buddy. It'll be okay"

Deku is too sweet to be mad for long *le cry*
