You guys HAD to get that kid back. You had to!

The villain was a better fighter than you thought. He was pretty good.

A couple of cops came to the scene and ushered the crowd away. Only the mother of the child got to stay.

"You're gonna have to try harder than that!" The villain taunted you, dodging the distracting kicks and throws that Bakugou and Sero were trying to do.

"I'll die if that's what it takes, you spiteful sack of bones!" You snarled and lashed out with your fist, but...he caught it. "What-"

"Next time...think before you speak!" The villain gave a mighty heave and tossed you away like a wad of paper, and sent you flying into a car.

Your vision blurred for a couple of minutes. You had to get up, you had to!!

The shouts of Sero and Bakugou sounded far away. Them when your vision finally cleared, you saw the barrel of a gun to you.

"Give...us...the kid", you said weakly, coughing. "You won't...w-win!" Inside you were terrified.

"Hahaha! Pathetic", he sneered. "Looks like it won't only be the kid's life I'll be taking with me, today"

Your eyes widened. This was it...

Then all of a sudden you heard Bakugou screaming. And that's when you realized...Sero.

"S-Sero? Wait, what a-are you doing! Sero!! SERO!!" As soon as he pulled the trigger, Sero got infront of you...and he took the shot for you.

"SERO! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING!? WHY DID YOU SACRIFICE YOURSELF!" Your voice rose to a shrill cry.

"A...h-hero ALWAYS saved people...even if the p-people that have been saved d-don't think they deserve it...", Sero coughed and wrapped his arms around himself. "I h-hope you'll forgive me..."

"Sero-", your voice caught in your throat when you realized...he was gone.
