Title: Dancing flame~ part 3

Now- before I get into the story, I would like to shout-out nat142021. She's an amazing person and I couldn't resist! This is for you :)

You're getting ready to go to work. You get changed, grab your bag, your keys, and you're out the door.

On your way you put your earbuds in and listen to some Mother Mother. Nothing like music to cheer you up!
Seriously tho...Mother Mother is the bomb.

As you turned your street to go to Starbucks, you heard a whisper in the alleyway near there. Could it be Dabi?

You couldn't be too sure. He doesn't like showing himself in the daylight too much because he's worried he might get spotted.

But- it would never hurt to check. Right?

Of course not! So, you checked by peeking your head around the corner.

"Well, hello, darling. I finally caught you in the daylight", there was Dabi hiding behind a garbage bin. "You have a minute?" His blue eyes looked like they could drown you with feelings you have never felt before.

"O-of course! But, um...I will have to go in a few", you said, feeling your cheeks dusting pink. "I always have time for ya. Always"

"Good. A few minutes with you is ALL I need", this time when Dabi spoke, his voice was...gentle. "I was wanting to ask you something"

"Go ahead! You can ask me anything" you reassured him. "What is it?"

"I was wondering...I was wondering if you could be my little Dancing Fire..? We've known each other long enough and-and I was hoping you could feel the same way that I do", his normally mysterious eyes glowed with love.

"I...I...yes, yes I will! But- would it be alright if I changed the nickname up a bit?" You could feel your heart burst with pride.

"Of course, doll. What are ya gonna change it to?" Dabi couldn't stop himself from cracking a small smile.

"How about...Dancing Flame? I think it suits me- no. I think it suits US", you gave a shy smile, blushing. "Sound good?"

"Of course. Anything you say is...is amazing", he said calmly. "And I think you should go to work. You wouldn't wanna be late, would you?"

"Oh-! Y-you're right! Buh bai, Dabi! See you later", you said cheekily.

"Goodbye, darling. I'll be waiting where you need me", he said softly.

It's almost dark. Almost closing time.

You couldn't wait to see Dabi! Although- you literally saw him this morning.

You were about to put up the 'closed' sign on the door, when a familiar face walks in. You haven't seen him in a long time!

"Kaminari? Long time no see!" You were happy to see your good friend.

"Y/n? It's good to see you! And if I MAY say- you look lovely as ever~" the boy teased, knowing that you guys have been best friends, you guys tease each other all the time. "I was hoping to get a quick something before I headed home?"

"No trouble at all! I'll be happy to do one more. Lemme guess- starfruit refresher with kiwi?" That was his favorite drink he always got.

"Of course! You know me too well", you ruffled his hair. "Come in and it'll be out in a few minutes!" He happily walked in and waited.

"Have good night, y/n!" Kaminari waved happily and walked away.

"You too! Bye!" You both parted ways.

As fast as your feet could go, you sped walked down the sidewalk. You hoped you would see those blue eyes...

For a moment they never came. He probably had to take care of something.

"Hello, Dancing Flame~. Sorry to keep ya waiting", Dabi's voice came from the dark, and you finally saw him behind the garbage bin he waits by.

"Hey! Good to see you", you waved happily and walked over. "Today was a good day at work. Saw one of my close friends"

"That's good. I'm happy as long as YOU'RE happy", he simply replied.

"Wanna come over to my house?" Your eyes shimmered hopefully.

"How could I say no? I have time to kill", he said smoothly.
