Title: The spark that burnt out~

Hold on my dudes- get a roll of toilet paper- infact- get a whole pack of it. This gonna be sad. Nothing but sad. Yes- I woke up and chose pain :)

This can't happen. This SHOULDN'T happen...

But...but it is. The love of her life, Denki Kaminari, is in the hospital due to a massive injury from a villain attack.

Y/n l/n and Denki Kaminari have been together since highschool. And they were pro heros together when they graduated.

A couple years later- he asked her to be his wife. She couldn't be any more happy.

Everything was going good. Every little thing was in its place.

But...it didn't stay like that for long. As mentioned- he was attacked viciously by a couple of villains.

He didn't know they were coming... It wasn't his fault!!

How it all started, was that he was on his way home from a super late patrol. And little did he know- there were a some villains waiting in an alley way.

All he wanted was to go home. He wanted to go home to his forever...

"Hey, Kaminari? How are you feeling?" Y/n asked him softly as he came out of anesthesia. "I'm glad to see you", she would always want to see him, no matter what state he was in.

"I'm no better...but I'm no worse, either", he said sleepily. "How a-are the kids?"

"Myaku and Kimalao? They're...doing better than I expected", she replied.
The way to pronounce the names are mee-ya-koo and Kee-may-luu. Myaku is the girl, and Kimalao is the boy.

"Th-that's good. I'm glad to hear that..." He reached out his arm weakly for you to hold his hand. "I'm happy to see you too.."

"I'll see you tomorrow. Okay?" She bent down and kissed his forehead, which he happily closed his eyes to. "I love you"

"L-love you t-too..." Kaminari responded quietly. "Electric Love", that was his nickname for her.

"Pikachu", she laughed lightly and walked away.

She came home to the kids flooring you with questions. They kept asking...

"Momma! When is dad coming home?" Kimalao asked.

"Yeah! You said that he'll be home soon", his sister Myaku chimed in. "Is he coming home?"

"Well...you see, dears...your father was hurt very badly. And- he doesn't look like he'll be home for a VERY long time. Do you both understand that?"

"Yes, mommy! We can't wait for dad to come home!" They both cheered.

"Yeah. Me too"

Little did they ALL know...that he wouldn't be coming home. Not at all, never again.

She got a call from her phone and it ring up Kaminari's ID. She expected to hear his weak voice, but-

"Hello?"

"Hey, you're Y/n l/n? Kaminari's wife?" This was the voice of his surgeon.

"Y-yes. Why...? Is something wrong? Is he okay?" Her stomach dropped to her feet when she heard the words that left the doctor's mouth.

"Miss...I am VERY sorry. But, I'm afraid the news isn't good. We thought he seemed to be doing alright after he surgery. Then...he...he just gave out... I am SO SORRY, ma'am"

"I-", the phone slipped out of her  hands as she dropped to her knees. "N-no... It c-can't be! It couldn't be!" She were bawling by this point.

"M-mom?" Myaku softly asked, worry in her tone. "W-what happened?" Kimalao was behind her, looking like he was gonna cry.

"Kids...I'm so sorry... H-he's in a better place now... Where he truly belongs", she wiped her tears.

"Wait...s-so you mean...he won't come home? N-never?" Kimalao whimpered.

"I'm sorry..."

"It'll be okay, momma!" Myaku sounded REALLY understanding for a 4yr old. "W-wanna know why?"

"What makes you say that?" Y/n wiped her tears, looking at her daughter.

"If he's in a better place, he won't be in any pain", she said.
