Chapter 12: It's Time

Everything was back to normal. Everyone who were petrified were back. I was happy to see Hermione moving again. She missed out a lot. Harry, Ron, and I got out of our seats. She ran and hugged Harry. She was about to hug Ron, but they shook hands. "Welcome back Hermione," Ron said. She turned to me and hugged me. "I missed you," I said. She congratulate us for solving the case. She helped to in a way.

We heard a glass tap. Professor McGonagall asked for our attention. I made my way to the teacher's table. Dumbledore said that we should applaud for Professor Sprout and Madam Pomphrey for their work on the petrified people. Next, our exams had been cancelled as a treat due to the light of the recent events. We all clapped. I could see Hermione disappointed.

The doors opened and Hagrid walked in. He thanked the Golden Trio and I. We proved his innocence. We celebrated his release from Azkaban. I got out of my seat and gave him a hug. I was happy that he was out.

Soon the term was over. Everyone was packed to go home. I said goodbye do Genevieve. I found the Golden Trio and told them that there was a chance that I would be shifting back home. "Don't forget about us," Hermione said. I nodded. I gave each of them a hug and said goodbye.

I made my way to the train. I saw Malfoy about to board the train. He saw me and came over quickly. "Sit with me," he said. I nodded and walked with him to an empty compartment. He turned around and hugged me. "Whats wrong?" I asked. "I thought I really lost you this time," he said. {I must have made him worry.} "I'm sorry," I said. He let go of me, but held my hand. We talked the whole way to King's Cross Station.

"Write to me?" he said. "I'll try," I said. He gave me one last hug. "I'll miss you," I said. I had a tear fall out. He let go and saw the tear. He wiped it for me. "I'll miss you too," he said. With that, we parted ways.

Next day...

Like last time, I wasn't feeling too good. The pull felt stronger by the hour. Professor McGonagall stayed with me. Her cat stayed with me as well. I said my goodbyes to her. She understood. I closed my eyes and let the pull absorb me.
