The first week after Nicholas left was awkward, to say the least. The two singers stayed clear from each other and only silently passed each other if they were ever in the hall together. It was annoying to Kellin because Vic didn't make any attempt to start trying to get along. Which made Kellin not want to attempt to get along either because he wasn't going to waste his energy trying to make something go right with Vic again.

Kellin had told his bandmates about the plan before the media caught wind of Nicholas not being in New York anymore. It went bad, as Kellin expected. All of them were completely against it and tried to buy Kellin a plane ticket back home. But he was very stubborn and they all, except Gabe, agreed to let him do his thing. They knew that if in two weeks nothing changed, he'd be going home.

They were 100% sure nothing would change.

By the end of the first week, Kellin was over it and knew he'd be going home after next week with the way things were going. He'd rather deal with an upset Nicholas than stay in a hotel room next to someone that didn't even bother to say hi.

He didn't let this ruin the time he'd been in New York though. He traveled a lot around the city. Became the ever infamous tourist. Kellin went, practically, everywhere that was a tourist attraction in New York. He went to all the famous restaurants, bought so many things for himself, and of course souvenirs for each of his friends.

He was excited to give them the gifts.

Today was no different. He was going to have a relatively relaxing day. Go to the park and eat at that restaurant they went to at the beginning of this trip. Hell, he might even hit The Metropolitan Museum and just pass the time.

He had woken up early today since he wanted to get a head start on the day. Before he showered he ordered room service and had a nice simple breakfast. Then he showered and got ready putting on fitted jeans, a simple t-shirt, and of course his trusty TOMs.

He slipped on a flannel and grabbed his phone before starting to head for the door. He wasn't going to let Vic know he was leaving since it was pretty much useless to do that. But as he passed by the door that connected their rooms, Kellin's steps faltered.

He frowned and looked over at it as he heard something but he didn't know what it was. So he got closer and pressed his ear against the door.

"I don't fucking care!"

Kellin could hear Vic yelling and he pulled away staring at the door. Who could he be yelling at? It couldn't be Nicholas, Vic never yelled at him. Could it be his bandmates? His brother? His mother?

"You don't get to pull that on me- I'm not ready!"

Kellin frowned at that and the curiosity got the best of him as he placed his hand on the doorknob after he unlocked it. He twisted it slowly and saw that it wasn't locked from the other side. He opened the door and walked in just in time to see Vic throw his phone.
