Janet and Riley were sat in their living room, Riley was eating her Dino nuggies, taking small bites so they last longer and Janet was sipping her wine. Her and Katrina had gotten together a week ago but known each other for years before revealing their love for each other.
"Riley I have a phone call one second" Janet excused herself from the room to answer the phone which read:

"Hey Katrina"
"Hello Janet, I was wondering if you and Riley want to come over later"
"Yea sure, what time?"
"Anytime"
Janet replied with a simple "okay" and decided that her and Riley were going to go to Katrina's around 7 after dinner, it was currently 5:00 so they had time to eat and get ready.
"Riley do you wanna see Misha and Sergei later?" The answer was obviously yes.
"Otay!" Riley replied with a cheery smile and turned her head back to the television, she had finished her Dino nuggies by now which were her dinner, Janet had a sandwich earlier but ate quite quickly.
The clock turned 6:30 and the two were about to get ready to go when Janet got another phone call, this time the phone read:
Ma
"Ma did you accidentally call me again?"
"No I was wondering if you and the lil ravioli want to come to a family gathering this weekend, you can bring someone too" It was Tuesday so they had time to think about it. Usually you wouldn't have to think about attending family gatherings but this was Janet's family and they're very... Different.
"I'll message you later cus I gotta ask Riley" Janet didn't want to go but she thought if she brought Katrina she would be fine, she just had to ask her first.
"Alright" Nona (Janet calls her Ma as you probably know) hung up the call after an awkward 10 seconds of trying to figure out how to and Janet made her eya back to Riley.
"Go get your bag ready for Misha and Sergei's house"
"Otay!" And with that the toddler was already in her room stuffing elsa dolls and Olaf plushies into her frozen themed bag.
*10 minutes later*
"Riley time to go!" Janet shouted from the opposite side of the house.
"Otay coming!" Riley replied.
She appeared out into the living room all prepared and ready to go and surprisingly Janet was too.
They headed out to the car and both hopped in, Riley excited to see her Russian friends and Janet excited to see her girlfriend.
They arrived at 7:05pm but it didn't count as late seen as Katrina said anytime.
"Hello Janet hello Riley come on in" Katrina greeted them, Riley ran past her and straight into the boys' rooms.
Katrina and Janet exchanged a small hug and went inside.
"Any particular reason you invited us over?" The reason was usually just to hang out or drink so that was the answer Janet expected but a worried feeling grew in the pit of her stomach when hearing Katrina's reply.

"Yes actually, I have to ask you something"

"Okay?"

Katrina sat next to Janet she didn't know if she would take this the wrong way or not.
"Is it okay if we keep our relationship a secret for now?" She asked.
"Sure, but why?" the voice on Janet's head was telling her that Katrina was embarrassed by her but that wouldn't be the answer, would it?
"Well, I know your family is quite the, how do I put this... 'Gossipy type' and so is Carol, I feel like it may be quite annoying if we are constantly bugged every time we see your family or Carol"
"That's true, okay, we can keep it a secret"
Janet actually seemed like it was a valid reason, after all, her family really did gossip and bug her already so them knowing she had a relationship would not go well for her.

Katrina nodded in acceptance.
"Oh and also, wanna come to a family gathering on Saturday?"
"Sure but... Isn't it a family gathering?" Katrina emphasise the 'family' to show what she meant.
"Yea but you're the only person who would keep me sane around Marie and Ma, I've learnt to cope with Chad"
Katrina let out a small laugh and replied, "okay then"
They both talked about little things for around 2 hours before Janet decided to take Riley home.
"Goodbye Janet"
"Bye Katrina"
Janet kisses her on the cheek due to the kids being near them and waved goodbye as she walked up the driveway.
"EWWWWW" Riley said jokingly, she actually wasn't phased by the 'kiss' at all.
"Oh shut up" Janet smiled.
They were now in the car and Janet broke the silence.
"Hey Riley, how well can you keep a secret?"
Riley was never able to keep secrets well so thsi was going to be a challenge, especially because Riley was so excited about it.
"Very well" She had a grin on her face, she knew she couldn't but didn't know what the secret was and was very nosey.
"Good, I'm going to need you to keep mine and Katrina's relationship a secret from any family and friends for now"
"Why?"
"Because I said so" (I hate when mom's say that)
"That's not a reason"
"It's because we want it to be a secret for the time being okay?"
"Ugh, Otay"
Riley really didn't want to keep it a secret but she would be told off and not able to watch Frozen if she did blurt it out, she couldn't risk the best movie ever for a secret so she promised herself to stay quiet.
"Promise me?" Janet asked, worried her daughter was not going to keep it a secret.
"Pwomise" Riley tried to sound confident even though she was the complete opposite of that.
"Okay good"
The rest of the drive was silent.
The white Jeep (I can see Janet in a Jeep okay?" approaches the driveway and both mother and daughter exited the car.
" Its late, bedtime, if you get ready for bed now you can watch frozen for half an hour"
"Otay fank u!" Riley ran to her room extremely fast to get into her frozen themed pajamas and wear her big blue dressing gown.
She ran back into the living room after only a minute or two meaning the clothes she was wearing before had definitely been left on the floor so when the movie was on, Janet walked to Riley's room and tidied up.
They both went to bed after a bit and slept peacefully through the night.

I have decided to write another book for this ship, I'm hoping for there to be about the same amount of chapters as the other book, anyways, enjoy! (this isn't a sequel but their relationship will be at the same point as the last book ended meaning they have just kissed, been on one date and the relationship is quite new)
