Ch.1. A Change In Tides.

"Be Careful" the ram horned woman called down to her crew, "and remember to get what we need and get out". her fluffy white hair was ruffled by the air the wind that blew by. a red haired woman stood next to the captain a smile on her face as she watched the crew from the deck as one lowered the anchor into the water to stop the ship from leaving.

"Got ya Captain" a young man smiled. stretching out his cream colored wings as he got ready to take off towards the small town they had docked at.  a young woman with blonde hair and an eye patch watched as he did zooming past the ship and into the town in a matter of seconds.

"Darren make certain Henry doesn't get into to much trouble" the red haired woman spoke from beside her captain. "last time he went off alone he brought back a lot of strange items". the blonde only nodded her head in response and made her way off the ship and towards the town the male had flown off to.

Darren sighed she was having trouble finding the bird like male. her eyes scanned the area she was in and she realized she no longer was in the small village but rather in the woods. realizing her own mistake for her terrible habit of getting lost Darren tried to find her way back only to get lost deeper into the forest.

The ground was soft due to last nights storm, and the mud stuck to her shoes however her ears picked up a sound. and the dirty blonde frowned following it, she noticed the trail of broken sticks like someone had been through this place. sniffing the air she smelled different scents, going in the direction of those scents she found the cause of the noise.

Three children arguing, one holding a map in his paws? one just sitting on the ground with a sad look on his face and the third was a blonde trying to steal the map from the fox like male. "You kid's lost?" her heavy accent making it slightly hard to understand her. their heads snapped to the woman as the blonde gotten into a stance only for Darren to vanish from his sight and appear behind the fox like kid. sniffing him for a moment "you smell like Sally".

Fundy's ears perked up at the mention of his mothers name, and than to the letter in his pocket it must of contained his mothers scent. well it did smell a bit like perfume to be honest and salt water, but this strange woman probably knew his mother and his dad hasn't come to find him yet and they were a long way away from the SMP lands, right at the border to be honest. "you know my mom?" he let it slip before the others could stop him. 

"Know her, she's the best navigator our ships got kid" Darren smirked, "you must be the kid she talked about before". the female went silent after that and took the map from his paws locating exactly where the village was on the map. she lowered it towards the group of children pointing where they needed to go.

"Your pretty decent for a woman" the blonde child spoke up, "I'll tolerate your company for now and let you accompany us to find the furry's mom". the blonde held some sort of complex Darren guessed and just allowed him to believe he was the leader, after all she would of just gotten them more lost if she was leading the group.

and so they made their way back to the ship, a ship that would change the three children's lives forever. for their story had only just begun after all, and their adventure was going to lead them to places they could of only dreamed of before. 

For today marked the day they would join a crew of pirates and gain a family that may be dysfunctional and a bit insane but they would be there when they needed them. for the crew would show them the love they had been missing for a long time for they were children after all.
