Dear Diary, July 22nd, 2014

So, it’s the day after my birthday and nothing has changed … still the same cycle of events. Wake up, get dressed, try not to wake up dad and It, and leave the house before they can torture me for another day. Today I went and visited my mom … well her grave at least. I picked fresh new flowers along the way to replace the ones I had placed there the day before. Upon arriving at the big hunk of stone engraved with my mother’s story, I made myself comfortable in the grass. As I was relaying to her the events of yesterday evening a rustle in the nearby woods caught my attention halting my words I focused in on the sound, which seemed to end as soon as my voice did. Checking my surroundings I noticed a fluffy little bunny scurrying back into the brush, I laughed at myself for getting so scared over a harmless little creature.  Having finished my tales to my mother, I gathered myself and started my journey to the local park. It’s just a sad little place, forgotten by the people. I think of it as my safe haven, where I can get lost in my thoughts and not worry about someone whipping me for it. Well this is where I’ll end today … until next time my friend.
