Dear Diary, September 5th, 2014
It's finally Friday and I wasn't physically bothered at school. I still heard the occasional insult and felt the familiar thump of an eraser at the back of my head though, there was no escaping that. I didn't see the jocks or Stacy at all which allowed me at least some peace. Home is a different story ... When I walked in the door, two sets of eyes directed glares at me. Slowly shutting the door behind me I stood frozen in place. A sadistic smile crept onto It's face as my father stood up off the couch. Undoing his belt he stepped towards me, my back hitting against the door. His arm swung back and a red hot pain erupted on my right cheek. My hand flew to my face. He never hit me in the face with the belt, never. My eyes filled with tears as he retracted his arm and sent it flying again this time coming in contact with my side. This action repeated until I was curled into myself on the floor, tears flowing down my face ...
