a priceless wealth which we have wasted / from all its bodies we have raided;the rain cascades from the azure sky, the water flows / but look how much water is wasted and how much we let go;
water is life, water is needed for life / we must all work together to end this woeful strife;
every last drop of water counts / we must watch our waters; every milliliter, every ounce;
the warm sunlight kissing our cheeks / the water scintillating in the alluring creeks;
the cerulean skies are a blank canvas / the clouds spread, the stars wink and the moon dances;
ah, the beauty of the earth / how disastrously we're destroying our hearth!
it's about time everyone learns to count their waters / it's about time everyone stops the oceans' slaughter;
the warning bells are ringing / the water pollution today is just the beginning;
it's better we stop this damned horror /
otherwise world war iii might just end up being about water.— beseechingly,
azade
