Taehyung had never expected to fall for Min Yoongi.

Not ever, and definitely not this hard, watching the mechanic work in silence, sitting off to the side as Yoongi's small body lay beneath some shitty car, Taehyung trying his best not to absorb the sight greedily.

It was tricky though, Yoongi's legs parted wide, slender even beneath baggy bright overalls, pale ankles showing in the gap between the hems and his steel-capped boots, Taehyung wishing he could grip them tight, tear Yoongi out, tear off his clothes, tear him apart.

Yoongi's voice shattered that fantasy immediately.

"I can feel you perving Taehyung. You're distracting me."

They hadn't been dating too long, but Taehyung was head-over-heels like a love sick puppy, alert at the attention from his pretty hyung, jolting in his chair. He knew if he was a puppy, his tail would be wagging like crazy right now, but he wasn't a puppy, just a whipped boy with a semi in his pants over his cute boyfriend ignoring him.

So much changes, when in love.

"You're the one distracting me." Taehyung scoffed, trying to sound jaded, pretending to pout even though Yoongi couldn't see it.

"I'm getting jealous."

Yoongi's voice was muffled from beneath the car.

"And what is Taehyungie jealous of? You can play with the creeper seat when I'm done, if that's what you want."

"I'm jealous of that stupid car." Taehyung whined, shifting in the plastic chair, leaning on his hands, staring intently as Yoongi continued to work.

"I wanna be on top of you."

Yoongi laughed, but his thighs twitched, Taehyung licking his lips at the sight.

"You were on top of me yesterday. Let something else have a turn."

"Slut."

"Taehyungie is so mean to hyung today. Now I'm gonna reeeeally take my time."

"No!"

Taehyung was still getting used to this – the waiting.

Waiting for attention from Yoongi, being patient while Yoongi worked and took care of important things. It was a hard thing to adjust to, not that Taehyung would ever admit it aloud, having been used to endless praise and endless lovers, one of the former highlights of being a well known race car driver.

It was something Hoseok, his best friend and rival, would always shy away from, too timid for the advances of others, too scared to do the advancing himself, but Taehyung had adored it, had loved the way girls with big breasts would hug him in congratulations, the way pretty boys would come up and ask for autographs in notebooks and then maybe go home with Taehyung's mouth leaving signatures up thighs and throats.

The media called him a player sometimes, but Taehyung didn't care.

Not then, anyways.

That changed fast, of course, when Min Yoongi rejected him.
