"Hi, Y/n!" I hear Ginny's voice from my left.
"Ginny!" I pull her into a tight hug. "I missed you." she smiles.

„I missed you too. What did you in the holidays? I thought you'd stay at Hogwarts." „I was with Ced and his Dad." I try to say it as silently as possible, not wanting anyone to hear it.

„Oh." Ginny bites her lip.

„Not like you think. We just...spent a few days together. It wasn't the first time tho." I put myself into a position where I have to defend myself against the rumors, again.

„Did you really think I would- No. I saw how you looked at Draco today." Ginny smirks.

„You- I- what?" I immediately blush.

„It's o-b-v-i-o-u-s."

„It might be. But if you say anything to anyone...You're dead, Gin." „Ouu...Nevermind. I won't tell anyone. But...you and Malfoy? Seriously?"

„Uhm...yeah?" „He barely talks to anyone." „We aren't dating or something." „Not yet."

If Ginny knows, the whole Weasley family knows. And Fred and George aren't that god at...well, secret-keeping.

On the other hand, what's the problem? Ginny sounded like she'd be at least a little happy for me and Draco. Even though we aren't dating. Maybe he's just joking or it's a dare.

We get out of the train and take out our luggage, I'm surching for Cho. Haven't seen her for a while, she must have left while I was talking to Ginny.

It's raining outside. The whole sky is cloudy and I'm already sorry for the first year's and Hagrid. „I wouldn't fancy crossing the lake in this weather." I hear Hermione's voice, a few meters behind me.

Yeah. They'll probably be completely wet during the ceremony. The sorting hat won't care, I'm sure we'll get some new Hufflepuffs this year. And I'm excited for the big meal, already.

I start walking slower. „Hermione, Harry, Ron, how are you doing?" I hug Hermione and smile at Ron and Harry. He looks happier than last year. The scar on his forehead is still dominating his face, and I force myself not to stare at it the whole time.

„We watched the Quidditch world cup!" Ron says, while we are walking through the gates of Hogwarts, the great castle looks welcoming and mysterious.

„Oh." Cho, she kind of just appeared next to me, seems worried. And immediately, I notice, too. The Quidditch World cup. Nobody really talked about it, but there was an article published in the „daily prophet"- something terrible happened.

I still remember the morning after the world cup, when Amos was sitting on the table, waiting for Cedric and me, and told us the news.

„Gladly we didn't go there" he said, and Cedric grabbed the newspaper to read it by himself because he couldn't believe. A total chaos and a dark mark, fire and the terrible end of the event everyone had waited for.

„It wasn't that bad." Harry smiles and tries to act cool. But It's obvious that he was scared. Even the great Harry Potter, the boy who survived the deadly curse and is meant to be the next great hero- if he isn't already- is scared.

Cho chuckles. „It sounded terrible. Are you guys sure you're doing good?" Harry nods aggressively, but Hermione seems to be slightly nervous. „We survived it, right? The only scary thing is what's coming up next." how is she able to say those words and stay calm? We don't know what's coming up next, and for sure, we're worried, too.

„Just try to stay safe." Cho smiles kindly and takes my arm, pulling me out of all the students and to the side. I can see Harry blushing and still nodding, and I have to laugh.

„Harry Potter?" I ask Cho, and now it's her who blushes. „No, I..." „He seems to like you, have you seen his face?"

„y/n, I need to tell you something." Cho is acting serious. We are walking about a meter apart from the whole group of students „Tell me then." „I talked to the Weasley twins, and..." the Weasley twins? This can't be good news. „Something is happening. Or will happen, soon. Malfoy was talking about it all day, and even Molly and Arthur couldn't stay silent. There will be a big announcement in the great hall today."

Uh. I'm getting even more excited. „Is it something bad?" I ask, but Cho denies. „No, George told me, Percy seemed very, very excited. He said that he'd wish to return to school for this year, and he's a bit jealous."

Percy Weasley is jealous? „Seems to be something pretty cool, then." Cho just nods and we continue walking. Some other students are driving in the coaches, but we, and also a lot of other students, decided to walk the way towards Hogwarts. It's always a magic view.

The old castle, and the lights in the windows, and the smell of the big meal that's already waiting for us. It feels like home.

„Ugh. Never. I'd rather die than doing that!" Cedric laughs, and I can also hear Polly and Adrien. They must be right behind us, and I can see Cho's face freezing. Hearing him laugh is still hurting her. I wrap my arm around her shoulder and pull her into the crowd of people again, making us invisible.

Even though I'm curious about their topic, I want to know Cedric doesn't want to do. I want to talk to them, talk to him. Like back then, a year ago, when everything was still okay. Normal.

I notice how I'm starting to miss Cedric, even though the last time we talked was today in the morning, 6, maybe 8 hours ago. I can't help but look over to them, but I can't find the group of three.

I'll see him later, anyways. In the common room, after the Sorting ceremony. But...I feel the urge to talk to him, now. I know I can't do this to Cho, and I'm fighting altitude battle with myself, before Draco wakes me up from my thoughts: „Y/n! Sadly you're sitting on the yellow table today, right? But will you...switch sides later today?" he whisper stehe last words, and I know exactly what he means.

„I..." I can't do anything against it, but I'm stuttering, again. „11pm, the windows are opened." Draco winks at me and a second alter, he's gone.

If it wasn't obvious, it is now. Around five students I don't know are starring at me. „Help me? Please?" I whisper at Cho, but she's not very helpful in situations like that. Her cheeks are as red as mine.

„You got it? We're going to a Slytherin party tonight!" I don't know if I'm happy or just scared. „You go. Draco invited you, not me. I don't like parties." I have to go alone? Oh hell no, that's gonna be embarrassing. „A single Hufflepuff at a Slytherin party? I'm going to die!" I don't if that's ironic or not, because maybe, I AM going to die.

„Draco will take care of you, I'm sure about that." „I don't think I'll go." No, not alone. With Cho, it would be something different. „You go!" she taps my shoulder. „That'll be the party of the century! You won't miss it!" I smirk. „Are you sure?" „Yeah! You should go. I mean you can leave if you don't like it- I'm sure you'll like it." Cho smiles and we're entering the Great hall.
