"So, was that everything?" Frost asked as they left the cafeteria.
"Yeah. That was the most important stuff." Jane answered with a nod.
"Was that so bad, Frost?" Cassie asked.
"No." Frost replied.
"See. Nothing to worry about." Jane said with a smile.
"Yeah, but school is yet to start." Frost said right before the bell rang.
"Ah man. You jinxed it." Cassie said.
"So, you remember where your classes are, Frost?" Jane asked as she looked at him.
"Yeah." Frost said as he nodded nervously.
"Good luck. You got this." Cassie said as she hugged him.
"Thanks." Frost said as he hugged both Cassie and Jane.
After watching them go their separate ways, Frost nervously began to head to his home room class. He entered the class after fixing his hoodie again. The class didn't have a lot of other students yet, so Frost went to the back of the classroom and sat down there. He looked down to make sure that his face wasn't visible to his classmates. He heard someone sitting down in the open seat next to him. Frost could feel their eyes on him, causing him to sweat nervously.
"Stop sweating so much. They're going to notice your scent." They said as they looked forward.
Frost immediately recognised the voice. He lifted his head and looked at Jessica.
"Hey, Frost." Jessica greeted in a whisper while smiling before glancing over the classroom.
"Why are you whispering?" Frost asked with a whisper, not knowing why.
"Remember, we dont know each other yet." Jessica explained.
"Oh. Right. Hey, I'm Frost. Nice to meet you." He greeted in a normal tone.
"Geez, sometimes I wonder who's the bigger idiot between the two of us. Just remember not act stupid in front of Tina as well. Also remember that you are new here." She said as she facepalmed herself.
"Tina is here too?" He asked as he began to look around, trying to spot her.
"Not in this class." She said as she rolled her eyes before smiling softly. "It's good to see again."
"You too." He said.
"So, how is the new family?" She asked.
"They're pretty good, actually." He replied.
"That's good news. How's Jane and Cassie?" She asked.
"They're pretty nice. Wait. How do you know about them?" He asked with confusion.
"Because I've been here for three years." She replied.
"But you just said that we are new here." He pointed out.
"No, I said that you and Tina are new here." She corrected him.
"Which school did Tina go to then?" He asked.
"Furry Gymnasium." She replied.
"Why there?" He asked.
"The more eyes we have in different places, the better." She answered.
"Ah okay. Why is she here then?" He asked.
"So many questions from a stranger. I don't know to be honest." She said as she shook her head.
Frost was going to say something, but he noticed that class was falling silent and a serious expression on Jessica's face. He followed her eyes and saw that the teacher just arrived. He took a deep breath and silently sat there while staring at the teacher from under his hoodie. It seems like this is a very strict teacher, considering that everyone immediately fell silent. He set down his laptop bag.
"Take out your history books." The Teacher said with a British accent.
Frost was confused since this was home room, but did as he was told. He took out his history textbooks with the rest of the class. Frost looked on his period lists and saw that they have history after home room. That explains a lot. He also saw that the teacher is Sir B. Wild.
