A year later
Steve took Val to their old elementary school.
"Steve why are we here?" Val said as she looked around.
He handed her a envelope when she opened it up she saw pictures of them from elementary school. She smiled at them as he helped her up the gazebo.
"Val, this is where our story began in this playground. I love you my princess and I don't see my future with any one else but you. So Valentina Sophia will you please open that note?" He said with a smile.
She opened the note she read it then looked up to see Steve on one knee holding a purple Diamond ring.
"Yes." Val said as she wiped tears.
Their friends were recording it and face timing Steve's parents and Val's parents. Bucky and Mara started to cuddle back at their parents house.
"You know what I miss?" Bucky said
"What?" She said
"Us playing basketball." He said
She smiled. "Race you to the court." She said
"You are so on." He said as they both went running.
Bucky beat her to the court. "What's going on?" She said when she saw him standing under one light.
"Come here.." he said
She walked to the middle of the court. He pointed for her to look up and she saw "Will You Marry Me?"
When she looked down she saw him on one knee. "I love you Mara, and you are my world my life and everything I could ask for in a woman. You are my dream come true Mara. So please will you marry me?" Bucky said as he held a purple Diamond ring too.
Behind him was roses and the words Will You marry me!"
"Yes." She said as she wiped tears.
He slid the ring on her finger as he stood up. They shared a kiss.
"I love you." He whispered
"I love you too." She whispered as they left the gym.
Val screamed when they called her to tell them the news.
