It was graduation weekend Winnie threw a big party for the three graduates Bucky Mara and Val. Mara had continued to stay with Val so it made it hard for him to get her alone the last four months.
It was the night of the party Mara had a dress she wanted to wear at the house so she came over early to get ready. She was doing her make up when Bucky knocked on her door.
"Come in." She said
Bucky let himself in when she seen him. "You can leave." She said in a low tone.
"No.." he said
She looked down.
"Mara I'm sorry. I've had a thing for you since I laid eyes on you. But the one thing that kept stopping me was the fact that your dad was marrying my mom. And the other thing was you had a boyfriend. But that weekend with you..made me realize even more that I am in love with you." He said
"Don't lie to me. If you love someone you don't do what you did." She said as she walked over to him.
He tried to kiss her and she pushed him off. "Don't. I'm not falling for that again. Go back to Marisol..I'm going to university of Miami where I never have to see you again. You hurt me..and I will never forgive you for what you did. I trusted you James..I trusted you and gave you my virginity and you broke my heart. You couldn't be honest with me..you lied to me for four days before I found you in bed with her. You kept pushing me away and lying to me just like Darius." She said and walked out.
Bucky looked down as tears fell. He went down to his room and slammed the door. He locked it and slid down. Winnie noticed half way through the party he was missing she saw Mara and Val sitting Steve and Stuart.
She sighed and went to his room. But to no avail she couldn't get in he was laying in his dark room as tears fell. Mara went home with Val because they were about leave for a summer cruise for two weeks. Val had made plans for them to spend the whole summer together.
Mara was never home all summer long she was always off with Val on a trip or at Val's where they danced,sun bathed and played basketball with their brothers.
