The first thing Kirishima noticed when he woke up was the pain. It was like someone stabbed him with a white-hot knife.(To be fair though he was stabbed) He let out a pained whimper.
"Kiri..?" Bakugo says. "You're okay..." there was relief in his voice, a small smile playing at his lips.
Kirishima looks up at him. "Bakugo.." he bit his lip a bit, guilt washing over him. "Im sorry.."
"For what?" The blond asked.
"I wasn't paying attention.." the red-head looks away. "I didn't see them they-"
"Don't.." bakugo replied.
"B..but it is my fault! If I had been paying more attention to where I was then.." Kirishima sighed. "Then..I wouldn't have gotten hurt."
Bakugo didn't say anything. He just turned his attention out the window.
The red-head sighed a little. He didnt know what to do or say in this situation. He had never gotten hurt this bad before.
"Im gonna find those bastards." Bakugo says after a moment. "Im gonna find whoever thought it was a good idea to mess with and hurt my dragon and skin them alive!"
H..his? Kirishima thought. Im...his.
It was comforting some how, knowing bakugo was willing to stay with him like this, even if he did something dumb.
"How..long was I unconscious?" Kirishima asked.
"Few days.." Bakugo murmurs.
"The wound?"
"....." The blond didn't say anything, just looked down at his hands.
"That bad..huh?" The dragon sighed, looking up at the ceiling. "Where are we?"
"Small village..few miles away from the cave."
"An inn?"
"Mhm.." bakugo looks over at kiri, gazing at the wound for a moment. "You...scared me."
Kirishima looks over. He saw the hurt in Bakugo's eyes, and his heart clenched a bit painfully. He didnt like seeing the blond like that. It wasn't right.
"Im sorry.." he whispers. "Im so sorry bakugo...i..."
"Dont.." bakugo replies. "Just.....be more careful you damn lizard."
"Noted.." Kiri murmurs. He drifted back into sleep.
