Bakugo sighed, laying against Kirishima's back, and closed his eyes. They had bid Todoroki farewell a few hours ago, and now the two were flying east, trying to find a place to spend the night.
The sun was starting to set, painting the sky in bursts of pink, yellow and orange. hints of blue, black and purple were mixed in. It was beautiful to say the least.
Bakugo opened his eyes and looked down at the ground. "There." he points down to a cave. "Land near there."
The dragon nodded a bit, slowly going towards the ground. he lands, and crouches down to the, letting bakugo slide off his back.
Once the blond was on the ground, Kirishima went to sniff around the cave. When he deems it safe, he turns back to Bakugo and indicated that it was okay.
Bakugo pet him and walked inside, sitting against the wall. The dragon followed, laying down on the ground of the cave. he laid his head in the blond's lap. Bakugo pet him, scratching behind his horns.
Kirishima purred, trying to bury his nose in Bakugo's stomach. The blond chuckled a bit. the dragon closed his eyes a bit, yawning slightly.
"Tired?" Bakugo asked. "It..has been a tiring day.." he sighed, leaning his head against the wall. He absentmindedly continued to pet Kirishima. He fell asleep after a bit.
Kirishima kept watch, making sure everything was okay and nothing would come for them, until he too, fell into a deep sleep.

The next morning Bakugo awoke first. He looked down at his lap.
"Kiri-" he stopped and stared.
In his lap there was not a dragon's head, but what looked like a human with dragon features. He took a moment to process what he was seeing, and when he did, he pushed the male off his lap.
The male groaned and sat up, rubbing his head. "That hurt-" he says. he opened his eyes looking up at Bakugo.
"Who are you and what happened to my dragon!?" Bakugo yelled.
"what are you-" The male looks down at himself. "o...oh.." he says. "Oh...this....this wasn't supposed to happen-"
"Cut the shit and tell me what happened to Kirishima!" Bakugo yelled again, pointing his dagger at him. The red-head looks up at the blond.
"I am Kirishima."
