Chapter Twenty-Five

When the six of us entered the studio we were met with a nervous JungHoon.

"Hello, JungHoon~" I greeted.

"Hello, hyung-nim" Shinee bowed.

"Hi, everyone." he replied,  "I'm sorry to ruin your fun guys, but Gyeongshik just called."

"Gyeongshik?" I asked, confused.

"Shinee's Manager." he explained, "He says there's been a change in schedule and that you guys need to leave for the KBS broadcasting station as soon as possible... You guys can hang out with Amanda another day."

All of our faces fell in disappointment.

"I promise that I'll try and get you guys a day off to spend with Amanda, OK? " he offered.

"Yes..." Shinee reluctantly agreed before turning to face me.

"I guess we have to go now... Sorry, Amanda. We'll hang out later, I promise~" Minho assured me before turning around to leave.

"Bye, noona!~" Taemin sang as they waved and left.

As soon as the door shut I sighed.

"I really am sorry, Amanda." JungHoon apologized.

I looked up in surprise. I had completely forgotten that he was still there.

"It's ok JungHoon." I assured him.

He gave me a small smile before heading to the door. "Why don't you hang out with me for now? Super Junior are all busy with schedules but Shindong should be free in a couple hours " he offered.

I smiled and nodded my head. 

The two of us began walking down the hallway. I didn't know where exactly we were going; I was letting JungHoon lead the way.

"Oh and Amanda?" he asked, breaking the silence.

"Yes?" I asked.

JungHoon smiled slightly to himself before responding. "Stop being so formal, it's awkward. Call me oppa, araso? I'm not that much older than the guys and I'd like to be on more comfortable terms with you." he explained.

I looked at him slightly surprised before breaking out into a smile. "Really?" I asked.

"Of course!~ he grinned back.

We continued to walk in silence for a couple of minutes.

"Aigoo... I'm so tired!" he suddenly exclaimed while stretching his back and yawning.

"Why?" I asked, slightly surprised.

I guess I just never really thought about how much time and effort their managers put into their work as well...

"The preparations for their new album and schedules just never end.. " he explained, "Is it okay if we just hang out in my office?"

"Of course! Why not?"  I replied.

"Thank you." he replied as we got out of the elevator.

I was so caught up talking to JungHoon Oppa that I hadn't even realized that we had gone to the floor above. We were now on the second top floor of the building. The whole floor was open with cubicles filling the room. Along the sides were opaque glass walls with sliding doors, the more important offices, I guessed. But SooMan's office, I knew, was the floor above along with the conference halls.

The two of us walked across the room, multiple workers standing up and bowing to say hello along the way, before reaching one of the sliding doors and stopping.
