Chapter Twenty-One

***Amanda's P.O.V.***

I stood nervously in the hallway, Sora on my left, Henry on my right, and the rest of Super Junior sitting down in the chairs lining the walls. I played with my fingers nervously as I noticed a few curious heads popping out from the corner.

I decided to ignore them and concentrate on what, or rather who, I was about to face. What was I going to say? Did I even have a chance? Was Eunhyuk right? Was everything going to be fine? What if I had to move out? Where would I stay? What if they told the media? Would the fans find out?

My hands began to shake and I gripped them nervously trying to hide them from my friends. Someone's large cool hand clasped mine, stopping the shaking and helping calm me. I looked at the owner of the hand to find myself staring into Siwon's eyes.

"It'll be fine Amanda..." he assured me.

He spoke in english. For the past week or so everyone has been speaking to me in korean so that I would learn faster. But Siwon knew what I needed to hear the then, and I thanked him for that.

I replied in barely a whisper. He gave me a small smile.

"Amanda?" a woman in a black skirt and dress shirt asked as she walked out of the doors in front of us and looked directly at me.

I took a step forward and gave her a nervous smile.

She nodded curtly before turning around and walking through the doors once again. "Follow me, please."

I looked at Sora worriedly; weren't they going to come with me?

"Excuse me?" Henry called out after the woman.

She turned around and raised an eyebrow. "Yes, Henry?"

"Sora and myself would like to accompany Amanda to meet our manager and the president. She moved here from America only recently so she doesn't know a lot of korean. We were going to help translate." he explained.

"We have a translator if we need one." she stated.

"We would also like to explain the situation..." Henry added on desperately.

She continued to stare at us, betraying no emotion.

"I'm to blame in this situation so I think it's only right if i also take responsibility." Sora butted in.

I looked at her surprised. She didn't have to go that far... I was to blame for coming here and not leaving when I had the chance. Sora glanced towards me with a comforting smile while i continued to stare at her confused.

The woman sighed. "then, I guess it's okay if you come in..." she trailed off as she began to walk once more.

I quickly followed her down the short hallway which lead to a second set of doors, Henry and Sora following close behind. We passed a small desk, which I assumed was the woman's, before reaching the doors. She held them open and motioned us inside. I nervously shuffled in, unsure of what to do next.

We were alone in the room; no manager, no president. Just the three of us.

"Go and sit at the table while you wait. They'll be arriving shortly." She explained before closing the door and leaving the three of us awkwardly standing in the middle of the room. We slowly made our way to the large conference table and took a seat on one side. I sat between Henry and Sora while staring at the seats opposite us.

My heartbeat quickened, becoming louder and louder by the second. It was so loud that I could hear it, feel it, in my ears. I began to reassure myself in my mind, gently reminding myself to calm down, breathe in and breathe out. Everything was going to be just fine.

We began to hear the clicks clacks of shoes against vinyl and two low voices as they slowly approached. I looked towards Sora and she gave me a small nod. I took a deep breath before looking at the door once again. The handle turned and I let out a big shaky gush of air.
